Alright I think I'm going to start competiting in MECA. Sort of confused on the fuse rating thing though. Anyone wana help me see what class I would be in? I would like to compete in AS or Drive By. I think I would do better in AS to start off with. The local state record is 144.2 and thats AS2. Should I have a problem with that? Also one other thing. It doesn't say that I can/can't have an upgraded alternator. Should I just not put it on or go ahead and put it on? Not sure what to do in that situation. Also it says no resins or anything. Does that mean in the box? I can't coat the inside with resin? What all could I do to help get the dBs up? Thanks for any help. Mike

Just sayin hello. My name is Mike and I'm 18. I'm a senior in HS and will be going to college next year. Anywho I'm not really a newbie to car audio just to the compeition aspect. I currently drive a '94 Explorer 4-Door. The system that is going in it is in my sig. Hoping to start competition anytime.

Kinda sad. Been looking to get into competing but all the organizations I have looked @(dBDrag, USACi, IASCA, and MECA) don't have comps around the Indiana area. All are in Ohio and what not. I don't mind traveling a state or so but why no shows in IN?

i'm up for whatever you want to build. as long as it bangs hard and hits the low lows thats all I am wanting.

i'll take whatever is gona go boom the loudest. this box is temporary for me till this summer when I plan on either stuffing 4 or 6 of the 1206Ts back behind the seat. I want some boom in my truck

I am in need of a box. I am wanting to best daily SPL I can get period. I am using 2 AW1206T's w/ a PA1800DB amp. This is going into the back end of an 87 GMC Jimmy Full Size so I have lots of room to work with. Let me know the best setups that will be able to perform the loudest(SPL wise).

Well my name is Mike. I'm from Greenwood, IN. Been around ca.com for quite a while. Been into stereos for almost 3 years now and have been into cars since my dark ages. My current system consists of Kicker KS35 fronts, Pioneer HU(debating on which of my 2 I wana use), 2 AW1206T Subs, Power Acoustic A1800DB Amp. Plan on getting a set of 6.5 comps along w/ a set of 6x9s maybe. I am a trained ASE cert mechanic(passed this year and I'm only a jr in HS). I love cars and I love everything to do w/ engines. lots more about me but not enough time/effort to tell
