agree 100 % Get a bigger bass amp, and run it at 2 Ohms : you'll have more power later when you change subs or recone them to D1 each. You have a nice car, sir ! Thank you

Yes, he's creditable. I know alot of people who will recommend him. You also have PWKdesigns...which take weeks to answer your SR...and ramdesigns which will respond asap.I would not recommend pwk. I have seen a few of his designs and they were poorly done. Yeah, I just put it down...for shits and giggles. I wouldn't recommend him either...just due to the fact that he takes a BUTT load of time to respond.

I'm stuck with either .5 ohms or 2 ohms, until I get a recone kit for them. I'd rather run them at 1ohms than .5ohms. Kills the amp badly.

It's a matter of listening preferences. Some say Aero ports are better on the numbers. Some say it isn't. I've always done slotted ports. They're easier to build and sound perfect to me. It's all about trial and error man. Slotted ports take more space, while aero ports are good for space conserving. In my experience, they're a pain to calculate...but that's because I never deal with them.

Aloha! Screenname is carshateme and if you've been on other car audio forums, you'll see me there as well. Just learned about this one..decided to join. Trying to learn everything I can and get good deals on stuff as well. I'm mostly being used stuff..since they're practically the same as new stuff, don't see why I should spend extra money for something that'll perform just as good at a lower price.
