I think you are correct the one on the right is revision B with more cooling fins and the left is the OG. My mistake!!

I strapped 1 V.1 and a V.2 with no issues... or at least none that I knew of, but to be honest I was only like .5db louder with two strapped at 2ohm than one at 1/2 ohm.

Just re-built the avalanche again here are the pics. Donor Midgate The gear 2 dual2 Nightshades and 2 SAZ1500s (one is not mine but friend needed money to fix his car so he kinda pawned it to me for the time being) New wires and relay and connectors New Alt Ohio Generator... need to put this in sometime this week All tore out and opened up Box 7.1 cuft after displacement tuned to 33hz with around 110sq in of port Cut out Midgate Filled and fitted Marking openings Wanted to see it Working on the midgate Planing the amp rack Finished amp Rack Finished install well kinda Sounds good and gets loud dont have any new numbers yet.... I hate the way the vinyl turned out on the midgate, the glue sucked and the vinyl is very thin, so that will be redone sometime this year. I still need to add the fans behind the amps and the relay for the fans. Also need to switch the KLM power wires with some hyperflex, and install new alternator. Let me know what you think.

I will give a point of view from the low power end even though you are mainly asking about higher power range. 1. one saz1500 at 1/2 ohm 2. daily 3. Considering they are receiving about half their rms I am extremely impressed with their ability to get loud and sound good doing it. I hit a 145.9(dash sealed TL). Just giving my experience.

No battery? My D2400 is my starting battery. I need another D2400 though in order to run another 1500. i burped 2 3000's @ .5 ohm each off one nsb90 under my hood!! I just want to be decent for everyday driving too. I hope 145+ alt and two D2400s is ok to run two 1500 at 2 ohm (1ohm each amp). that should do the trick but I would get them down to .5 each 2 Dual 2 Nightshades

I just want to make sure my electrical is up to par for two. Yeah though thats the plan get another D2400 and another 1500, and ad244 alt. they might be posting a tl score but there is a big differnce where and how you make the score. most usaci people build different then dbdrag people a guy in usac can bang a 160+ but sealed on the dash cant do but a 153 Yeah I knew usaci was in the kick. Second time ever on a meter First time ever competing and I won first in Street C with 145.9. I got there early this morning and was in the lane qualifying within ten minutes of being there. They gave me a CD and I started at 32hz and just went up 3 tracks at a time within 30 seconds until I got to 48hz. I am still not sure where I peak but 48hz was the only track I played on my other 3 runs. Thanks to Sundown Jerry for his advice. Gear: 2 15 Sundown Nightshades 1 SAZ1500 at .5 ohm 1 Powemaster D2400 1 MLA module 145.9 and I think I got more if I can get some meter time to test.

Indeed I will already got that ball in motion. Quick question, I was a lil confused reading the thread, are you powering them with a pair of 1500ds in the vids or just a single one? In the videos just one 1500 I don't have the electrical at the moment to support two.

A week now and I'm still impressed. Just save up till you can get them, they are worth the wait IMO.

Honestly I'm not sure but I am hoping that with 145 alt plus 2 powermaster d2400's, ran at 2 ohm strapped (1ohm each amp) I will be ok. If not I have access to a dual alt bracket then I will run dual ad244s (optional GM alt) if needed. I'm pretty sure Derrik824 runs two 1500's strapped at 1 ohm (.5 each amp) on a single factory with 3 group 31 optima batteries alt, not 100 percent sure so don't quote me on that.
