Lighter Adapter ... ?
I can get a 2500 watt inverter for $100, but really don't think I need that beast in my truck just to power a few hard drives and computers. I can get a 500watt inverter for $35 but it might have a lighter adapter instead of terminals. Can I cut the wire to a lighter adapter and directly connect it to a battery terminal?

Fixed. Was checking the wrong fuse.

i think i wanna buy a hand gun
I love my Glock 30 -- It only has a trigger safety, I've carried it cocked without a problem, but don't suggest doing so. I'm very careful when drawing it, and only carry it cocked during times I feel I might need it. I always remember to draw with my finger on the slide rather than on the trigger. Common sense also greatly decreases the chance of a mishaps.

PAC OS2
Any GMC / Chevy owners have experience debugging their PAC OS2? My head unit is getting no power. Also it's just my luck that my volt reader isn't working tonight either, so I'll have to grab a new one tomorrow. I've checked all all cables none are lose.

My thoughts exactly. Tell us how it sounds

ICON VIDEO'S
That could work but I like the beasts and got my 18 box already designed (tuned at 44hz and 36hz) 23ft3

ICON VIDEO'S
That's the way we do By the way, the "bottoming out sound" is from the box vibrating on plastic and metal clips where the 3rd row seat was. It still amazingly clean and you can hear my highs and mids from the back surprisingly ... 3 speakers are in the front of the car and only 1 in the backdoor, the 2nd backdoor is blown and still able to be heard with the lows, so it sounds wonderful, it's just not enough cone space for my giant. I needs the 4 18s

How To? 2 Car Batteries
Thank you, can I get an isolator at Autozone or Checkers? How much do they generally run and are they as simple as plugging each cord in and being ready to go?? I fixed my power issue so I am having no voltage drops now @ 2000 watts rms, when I was dropping to 11v before Happy it's fixed, so I don' think I need to isolate at this point, I can just throw in extract batteries in parallel, correct?

How To? 2 Car Batteries
If I want to have 1 battery for my electrical system and one for my audio, how do I split the two batteries from the alternator? Split them from alternator into both batteries separately (and then into the capacitor or parrelel to the 2-3-4 car battery)? I don't want the audio system to pull from the cars electrical system.

Hushmat, Dynomat, or Raamat?
Thanks for the link, it is very helpful and saved a lot of time, and research. I appreciate everyone's opinions and replies. I will begin my build in 2-3 months and have pictures. Going to go with SS

I have my ICON 12 D1 (I believe, Mark can confirm) running at around ~1250 RMS (6/8 on gain) on a 1600 watt channel. Sounds great, no clipping, no burning... I still can't wait for the new box to have a little more SPL output though I need that tornado in the Denali... Yea Heard?! LOL

Component question ...
Do I need to match my components wattage??

Hushmat, Dynomat, or Raamat?
I am open for suggestions, Second Skin is local, manufactures in the Phoenix area would be better. What would be better in comparison to Second Skin and Raam? Or is that a personal preference? Thank you all for your comments

Hushmat, Dynomat, or Raamat?
I need to dampen my entire SUV and am not sure which is the preferred dampening company, each forum seems to have different answers. I am not worried about price as much as quality of the product... What is suggested by this community? Hushmat, Dynomat or Raamat?

Thanks Mark!
Satisfied enough to most likely use SSA in my main build =) I can't wait for a custom enclosure to see what were really working with!

Thanks Mark!
Glad I went down and picked up the 12 from you today, sounds louder than 3 P3's on a T3000.1, even with the prefab box. I am getting a box designed, will you be able to build it for me if I give you the sketch-up??
