in youre locale you should be able to ask around to find a builder. Somewhere on these forums are specific plans for a dcon 10. You'd basically print the plans and take em to a builder . haha look what section this is posted in I think he's in the right place asking the right question ha. But the max dimensions would be perfect for them to draft and build something for you. Although with a single 10 you probably wont be hitting near any of them anyways. Glad to see more ssa subs, can't wait for mine. ack, sorry man. Im new :-p

yeh, no room for 2 15s :-( Its either 10s, 12s or a single 15. The funny part is I sold a set of PG ti elite 12s last month. I blew em out for like 240 a piece no less.

1500 wrms at 2ohm. LOL. Every time I say how much this amp puts out I get a smile on my face. It might take a month to get in but I'm pretty happy. I know MMats has fallen out of favor with a lot of people but Im a long time fan of the small footprint and effieciency. This was my car a few years back.

I wouldnt have gotten the MMats but it was only 60 more than the BC2000.

So today I was all set to order my crescendo 2000 . I had planned on a single xcon 15..... anyways. My wife needed me to run to the store and right when I was leaving a person accepted an offer on a mmats 3500.1. Now I have no plan. Are there any 15 subs that run on 2750 daily and can play in a 3cf box?

I got a local guy wants me to make his car " sound like mine" If he doesn't take the sub in the deal Ill try local then probably put it on the forums. Id hate to waste my great box. Im probably moving to a pair of sundown 10s or maybe a single xcon something. Xcons are freakin pricey for me.

That amp is like 1100 rms on the sub channel and the birth sheets usually say around 1200-1250. Ive got one in my trunk. Think those subs with that amp can do 150? If so Im keeping my amp

Meh. I dunno. Im not sure what sub amp I'm gonna be running yet. Right now I have a Memphis 5.1400 but Im gonna run a more SQ oriented amp on the fronts and maybe a mmats 2000.1or us amps md2d for the subs. The md2d would look okay with my other us amps but I love the efficiency of the mmats. There aren't any retailers that carry ssa stuff either, there's something to be said for being able to slap something under warranty on a counter and get a new one.

I swear to god Ive had to demo this thing for people like 50 times. I gotta say Ive had some very positive comments including a lot of " thats one 10? "'s But I think Im ready for a something that I can actually turn up the gains :-)

I have a 95 camaro also. I gave up and just did the recommended ported for a dcon 10 and it fits right in there kinda. I looked at ebay and was afraid to try those as well. I have some diagrams, email me at [email protected] and Ill hunt em down and email em to ya.

Thanks for the ampguts link,..... There are at least 2 different amps on that page though. Im still looking for which input or both to use when bridging and the manual ( not the one thats widely available for a different amp than the ones on the ampguts page )

Anyone have the specs for the USA-150 with the long fins on the side? Also Id like to know which input to use when I bridge the amp. I replaced a PG xs2500. I had been running the 2500 with a dcon10d4 at 8 ohms so like 250 watts and I switched over to the 150 and ran the amp at 2ohms. The xs2500 kicks the crap out of the sub. It seems like i have to run the 150 almost to clipping to get it to push a 300 watt rms sub.

Thanks man. The rack full of zeds was actually replaced with a SS 705 which in turn was replaced by something else. I pretty much run a system till I find somethign interesting and then swap out or if I lie it it last though spring and summer then comes out in the winter,.

I am the fortunate owner of a 4th generation camaro :-p Anyways I have a dcon 10 on the way with plans to add a second. Ive seen the box plans for optimal ported and they look fine but because my box is going to be 3 sections with a wedge on top I dont even want to try to do a slot port. If anyone could just give me the size of the box and port ( to achieve the same result as the optimal ported enclosure ) with the port volume already included I would be very thankful
