  1. I just wish we all lived a little closer because you know I would do it. I can't comment on pricing, it may be good for the area. I have been told many times I am too cheap, but I live in a poorish area. That is the reason I don't offer ceramic pro ( I am certified with them also), they control pricing which in your case ceramic pro pricing would be closer to $1600. I would love to see pictures when it is done.
  2. Will do, Thanks.
  3. My Flex dealer just told me they are moving production out of Germany to China. So glad I made the jump when I did. All my flex tools are fully serviceable.
  4. Sunny today, it poured yesterday while I was at work.
  5. I also seal graphics.
  6. Start with a good hand wash, fine clay to pull anything that is stuck in it, IPA wipe down should get it clean enough to coat. I put clear PPF kits on and seal ceramic so they last and don't get brittle.
  7. My apt canceled today, so I will be able to start the 2 corvettes early. Corvette's at Carlisle is this weekend and I could spend 3 weeks just prepping a handful of cars just for the show field.
  8. If the PPF is still in good condition, not yellowing or cracking, you can use a finish compound and clean it up. Then ceramic right over it. PPF is the best paint protection.
  9. Best advice I can offer is to look at their work. Paint correction is everything, regardless of the ceramic.
  10. Yes, never used any of their products though.
  11. 78, I may get back to that garage tomorrow, he has quite the car collection. I will get more pictures as I do more work for him.
  12. Just have to use caution because some areas are thin. I use a finish compound and set my flex beast to 1. Let add humidity greatly affects buffing it. We are just cleaning the paint to look as original as possible.
  13. It is refreshing cleaning up some vintage American steel.
  14. She is not perfect, but eye catching. The original plastic still on the rear seat and it came with the entire tool kit. I will have to get a picture of that along with some engine pictures.
  15. My current project. 1937 Ford Coupe, all original.
  16. Mostly paint correction and ceramic coatings. My 4runner is finished just have not posted pictures yet.
  17. Nice car, looking forward to seeing your build log.
  18. Craziness
  19. Just had my blue runner back for the fuel pump recall and the dealership had 1 trd pro runner in white selling for $11k over sticker and had a deposit on it. Crazy inflation.
  20. The car market has me on the fence, I may sell one of mine.
