Starting to get this build under way. Very simple as it is my wife's car and she uses the trunk for her business. I am adding 2 DCON 10" subs to her factory JBL green edge system. The box is going to be straight foward sealed and small so it can be moved and removed when needed.

Wow I have been in the hobby since 87 and played every sub I ever owned the same way. If you blow a sub it is your own fault and not because it was not broken in.

If you choose to do it, do it with caution. I know Joe ran it there daily.

But worth it.

I'm very curious about how it will sound sealed, cant wait for a video what made you decide to go with the 15 vs the 18? wanted to keep some cargo room? Yes, we travel a fair amount and need cargo room. The sealed box more than likely will be my everday box and the ported box will be my summer box. Sealed I am thinking is should get rather nasty too.

Going to put this here so I can refer to it when I am ready. Sealed box is going to be 18"Hx40"Wx14"D =4.6 ft^3 -.22 for sub = 4.38ft^3 This box will have window style bracing on each side of the sub which should bring things very close to 4ft^3 I do like the overall size of the box and the amount of room I will have left.
