Time for a change-Mr. Clinton?
The XCON is a very surprising sub. It sounds awesome and can get loud when needed.

Correct he does not post much, but has been here for a while. He joined in 2007. So he just did not appear to complain.

Can you offer up a little info on this? I use an old box program that tells me vent noise may occur when the vent is too small.

That either has the conversion or is a 935. I like the classic headlights. That does look like the first one I ever drove though.

First real check of the year for me with out holiday and bonus pay and it seems my take home is about $90 less biweekly. Between healthcare and tax increases I might aswell get some of that Obomacare, I bet they did not get a pay reduction.

If the vent speed is too high than port compression can occur, and depending on how high it is, it can cause audible noise and/or a reduction in output. Is there a point when it can be too low? From what I've read I haven't found anything mentioning any limits for too much port area / too low vent speed, but generally it's a moot point because the port length gets longer, and becomes increasingly difficult to fit in the enclosure. I have been looking for an answer to that and have not came across anything either. I have read the lower the better and anything below .4 desirable.

When this pirate turns about 40 he may be looking for a nice Ferdinand 1984 930.

Drove one with my mom a week ago. Holy shit boring. $39k in the format we looked at as well and for cars in the $35k-43k range it was the last one on the list. Forgot we did not drive one because the wife did not like it. The only cars she drove were the Lexus IS 250,350, and ES 350 aside from the Camry SE. Yeah, I've driven the ES330, and the LS460 I think it was. I don't like the insurance premium though. I don't see the point either when they're basically a Toyota with thicker steel and extra sound deadening. I do like the mid to late 90s LS models though. I'm not paying $10K for a car with over 100K miles though. Insurance was the deal breaker on the ES and the IS was a little too small she felt. Here Camry is a little pricey for insurance or more than I like to pay.

I like the Venza, but my wife did not. My gram has one and loves it. Similar to the Ford Edge I was told.

I still am in saltwater but im getting rid of everything soon i just dont have the time and car audio is using what i do have free. Car audio cost way less than the saltwater addiction. I don't blame you for making that decision. :)/>/>/>/> Dude you are not kidding at all ive sunk upwards of 6-7k in the past couple years in these damn tanks. At least with car audio i dont have to feed and clean it 24/7 haha My main tank was 400 gal. The set up with out rock, corals, and fish was close to $12k. Whew man i really feel for you ive only got about 100 gallons total. Friend runs a farm with 4 800 gallon tanks talk about expensive lmao. Fun while it lasted, but the haunt took over for the salwater addiction. Sounds like your friend has a nice set up.
