Kinda on the fence with a thought. My plan was to move or build in a few years, but with my current house is almost paid off, I am thinking of adding on to the house 12'x25' of living room and then a garage 25'x30'. Back in 1999 I paid $62,500 for it and current market price is $118,000. I hate to borrow money, but it would appear I have plenty of borrowing power.

Does the key have to be inserted in the ignition cylinder to usse the push button? I don't know exactly how they complete the circuit for ignition. There is no key, just a button. SO anyone can start and steal your car if you leave the doors unlocked or does it have an RF chip in a fob or something that has to be in a certain range? Sorry I could not log on last night, I kept getting an error. This car has a fob that has to be present to do anything. The fob controls everything. The remote start has a bypass that will allow the car to start, but nothing else. Once you open the door it shuts off and the fob operation takes over, then you have to restart it.

Today I had a remote starter put in the wife's car. (2012 toyota se v6) The car has the push button igniation system which requires a bypass module. The remote start works fine except when you enter the car it shuts off and you have to restart it with the push button. I was told that with these new push button systems that is how it has to work. Does anyboy know if that is true?

Well I have let this build sit in the tomb of silcence long enough! On a recent trip to Baltimore I realized just how tightly they park and I needed extra eyes pulling out, so when I got home I started looking at back up cameras. There were 3 I really liked. Alpine makes the best, but it is very pricy. So that left the Sony and Pioneer. Both units are very similar, but I was told the Sony had a little better camera and it was a little less money than the Pioneer. I hope to get this done Tuesday and will take pictures along the way.

If closing my finger in the door was not bad enough, today I smashed my thumb in the door and blood went everywhere. Not the best start to the work day.
