having heard one.. and comparing it is not a fair reviewif you are going to compare them then you would want to do a direct swap He heard the 2 I had in my truck which would not be a fair comparison. I would not let him do something that was not fair, he is super excited about getting his GCON. -
The house ghostly creeks in the wind as the lack of power is not present to hid it.
It seems the power is missing, where could it have gone? The house is deathly quiet when there is no power flowing through the wires.
I am sure at some point we will meet up and get to see each other build.
Not sure if it is fair to compare it to the SSD. If I were to guess it would fill the gap between the DCON and SSD.
Thanks. I have been turning the box to see which way sounds the best. I can get both 18's in and may have to use a little polyfill. I can tell you this one 18 feels like you are being punched and I can only imagine what two will feel like.
Alright so after the noise ordeal, glad it is gone, I installed the new head unit. I am very pleased with this thing.Fair amount of processing and crossover selections. Now to decide which way to face the subs and get busy on the box.

Yes I did and rca ground loop filters and power supply filter. On the plus side I recheck everything I did for fun. Put the clarion back in and it was like magic. Guess I will see if this new unit interduces noise today.

So after dealing with a noise issue and finding out it was the head unit I said screw it and bought a new one. I have been looking but did not really want to buy one. Well I had $100 to use at best buy so I bought a avh-p3400bh, guess we will see if it is noisy.
