I am not sure what the average pay is, but we start them out above 65K.

I will have to check my son's. He has been playing his pretty hard. then the don't get paid like engieers either.. In our process department you must have an ME degree. We hire many straight out of PSU main with a very high starting wage. The reason I never went that way was the job duties have changed over the years and I fit in better doing projects and managing people.

If I am reading it correctly, the port forward MTM center has baffle step compensation for near monitor on wall. If I go with that one, I would build three of the centers for the front. The sealed AviaTrix also has baffle step compensation for mounting beside the monitor. Hopefully they will work out. Not a big investment if not. Would make a nice gift for a friend. lol Sweet! I would like to see this build log on HAF.

At least you don't have to deal with the huge corporate BS. When two of our guys got axed, I inherited their stores even though none of us are supposed to have more than 4 stores. I have 8 stores and one vacant building. Now I get twice the people bitching that I don't get stuff done and have to justify my work every day, and am held responsible for stuff I have no control over such as whether or not the store associates recycle cardboard or throw it away, or if the housekeeping crew actually does their job. The store managers are supposed to police all this stuff, but they never do so it gets thrown at us. Well I think this is the start of coporate BS. As we grow larger expanding into other countries we are getting more spreadsheet bean counters who are guiding the owners into making these decisions. I know at the end of the day it is business, but very sad to see good people let go when it has nothing to do with performance. It DOES have to do with performance, or lack-there-of. I'm sure you see them waste money in many other facets and this is one of many reasons they lose money. Sorry I ment their work performance. Yes people waste more money on silly projects that have to impact to the end goal of making more diapers.

Needless to say I grew up a little more yesterday and need to make spookhaven an Awesome haunt to pay off the new building quicker.

So yesterday was a rather eye opening day. I was pulled into a meeting and told the company was downsizing and my department was losing 3 people today. I have worked for this family owned company for almost 18 years, I sat there thinking back to all the company meetings we had and all the projects I did for the owners and then it hit me nobody is safe no matter what they told us in the past. No matter how secure you think your job is at the end of the day you are just a number that may need to go to keep business going. My department was reduced to 3 supervisors and 1 manager, guess we will see how things get restructured in the coming weeks. At one point I was the only supervisor in the maintenance department.

Curious how that felt? it wasnt bad...... the artist said that he was shocked how well i took it and i had aligator skin, lol my wedding band was a little more tense, the part in between the fingers....ouch! I think either place would hurt. the front and back of my knee had its moments for sure, the sternum has this feeling, as if you can hear/feel in your lungs.....sorta wierd but the worse for me thus far was a numb spot on my leg.....yup numb spot, where i figured there would be little to no pain, hurt like it was being ripped in... so much for benifits from crushed disk and nerve damage, lol seen a few collections of hollywoods badest boogymen, do you have a themed collection going? perhaps your charecter even? that would be a cool tatt, imo! I don't have a collection of any sort. I do have 2 nice pieces of Paul Booth's work though and a couple random ones.

WOW what a night! I was on parking duty until 9:30 and parked 308 cars and my helper said he parked 200 or so.
