Hope you are feeling better Sean. Thanks Neal, just completely robbed of all energy atm. Sinuses feel better, but jeez this sucks. Not so funny as before children I NEVER got sick. In more than 20 years of working full time I have never taken a sick day until 2010. *excluding the two hangover days I took as sick days* It is going to happen more now as kids seem to catch everything and give it to mom and dad. Thank goodness for sick days as they come in handy for the little ones.

Since db-r does not have their forum here I figured I would post this in the Sundown forum. Feel free to move it if you like. I was looking for a 3000 watt amp and checked the db-r web sight and saw they were having a sale on their referb amps. I had some questions and emailed Chris those questions. He responed quickly and assured me I was not only getting an excellent amp, but was getting the customer service got go with it if I were to have any issues in the future. I just ordered it a couple hours ago and look foward to its arrival. Thus far I am very happy with the service I received from Chris at db-r today. I will update upon it's arrival and install.

Crescendo 3k ? Seems like the same thing as the SAZ 3k. I've heard it's the same board Going to look into these. THey seeem very comparable. The Crescendo is out of stock until Dec 20th. Thoses guys on caraudio classidieds really carry on about stuff. Might just go with db-r and buy their referb 3k.

What kinda budget are we talking? dB-r has SAZ-3000D's for like $500. Look into SounDigital too, very small footprint amps. I'm thinking of selling my 3KD, but I'd rather get more than $500 out of it since I lost my job. Budget is not an issue, just looking for opinions of what is out there and people are using. 3000 watts seems nice to run 4 ssd 12's. I emailed db-r on the referb, just waiting on them.

What is it that you do if you don't mind sharing. I am a maintenance supervisor at First Quality. I am the guy who gets called upon to analyze large failures mechanical and electrical, process improvment , and machine building. I have been doing this since 1994. Ahhh, exciting. So are you an engineer then? No, I have to finish my mechanical engineering to get my degree.
