Leaving for St.Louis Thursday for the Haunt convention and visiting an awesome Haunted House called The Darkness. Does anybody know of what there is to see in the St.Louis area?
  2. That box looks very interesting. Are there any advantages in that type of port?
  3. Very well said!!
  4. You should really define what you mean by best so that you can get the information you need. Just my .02 baised on the dollar amount, if you can add a little more you can get a Kicker zx1000.1, or check the sundown section for used or B stock.
  5. I was wonding if it made any type of noise or even reproduced music, sorry for not being clear. Sometimes the relays may hang up because of arking. That migh have been part of your problem to. Just keep an eye one it.
  6. It powers up right. Does it put out any sound?

What size tank do you have? small one, like 6 gallons. The otocinclus only grows to maybe 1.5", and other than that I just have two red tetras that I've had in there for like 8 months. They're also only about 1.5". I just have a small algae problem (have to scrape the glass about every month) because the only place in my townhouse for my tank is in my room and it gets quite a bit of light. Plus I don't have any live plants in there, though a few of those like mini lili pads were in the bag with the oto, so if they multiply then that'll help cut down the nitrogen. But I got the oto because I was bored with the same two fish and thought maybe he'd help my algae. I have some small snails in there, too, but they don't really do anything to it. That is how I started out and worked up to a 300gal reef tank. Couple of years ago I down sized to a 150gal. This was a bad habbit for me for many years. I still have a brand new 400gal sitting empty.
  8. Welcome. Nice doors!!
  9. Baised on your pictures, the only thing I see might be the by the 2 black caps. Do you have a way to power up the amp?
  10. So if you ever jump your car you should remove the big power fuse in the hood? Might be a good practice to save your equipment.
  11. Seriously, that is some awesome help ///M5.
  12. A picture will tell us what may have happened. Yes his fuse was blown, but the damaged happened before the fuse blew. Just for referance is was a Rockford Punch 45 before the HD series. A long time ago.

  14. I remember years ago my brother received a jump start from somebody and did not remove the fuse in the power wire, he ended up burning the diodes in the power supply.
  15. Have you dealt with anybody from First Quality?
  16. Are you serious?

  18. ported purely for volume? I am going for the most control and tight I can get. Also my Zapco has a nice dampedning factor Yes, I do like to get a little loud every once in awhile. I would listen to Nick. He has always been honest with enclosure sizes.
  19. Welcome
  20. I would keep it at 1.1 after displacment. This is something that I tried with mine and liked it, but deceided to keep them ported.
  21. That is one good looking build in progress.
