JL has been providing good products and service since I started car audio back in 1991. I have had many personal experiences with their equipment. Anybody remember the W5 series? My favorite for detailed sound.
  5. I checked Fi's website and the option is there. I am thinking Scot is just teasing about the pictures
  6. Nice choice in power. Thinking of switch to Sundown my self.
  7. Truely a piece of art. Time consumeing, but very rewarding!
  8. When you build a product that people are happy with people also want to advertise and show it off. This is what Fi and AA have been doing. Great Products + Great Service = Proud Supporters!!
  9. Great idea to personalize your sub to your car or truck!

  12. Agreed. I purchased 4 MLI 6.5 and am very happy. Good decision!!
  13. It is very tempting, with all of the encouragment everybody provides it just might happen. 4 Fi ssd 12's powered by a 3000d in a F-150.

The only problem I have now is, I am thinking of getting more and building a small two channel set up to add to my collection of other speakers.
  15. I have been checking their web and the prices are pretty tempting. I am kicking around the idea of swapping out my zx1500 and going with a 3000D and adding two more subs.

I currenty have them crossed at 65 hz and allow them to play as high as the voice coil will allow. They are powered by an old school PPI PC275. The amp sees a 2ohm load which gives each pair 150 watts rms which is a little underpowered but they sound pretty sweet. As for pictures when it gets warmer I plan on doing a final install and taking pictures then. I live here in PA and its been cold.

I received 4 of these just before Christmas. I have been playing with enclosure volumes and let me tell you these speakers sound great!! I currenty have each of them in .0198 ft3 and they are working great! If anybody has any doubt about these drivers for the money, I don't think there is anything better out there (just my opinion).
  18. Sweet gasket idea!!! Looks like it makes for a clean job.
