June Issue of Momentum is out
I was worried I got a little off track and was to wordy, but I was planning on going back to automotive article next issue, but maybe I can do the RL-p, but I need to sell my Cadence, (I will let it go cheap) because I want a little more power for my sub for daily SQ, if i get the money I still want a pair of these mags bad, and a second 2500D to power them, my hopes would be to call up shane again and nab an 8002 to match the 8004 for the sled show install with the RL-p in it, this would put me in a weird spot, a bunch of subs with no home <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have the Orion 600D if you want it. No matter what version you have D2 or D4 it can be wired to 1 ohm. ~600rms. Just let me know if you are interested.

33A - Focal 13" Access Subwoofer
Honestly it would be best for you to decide on an amp or subs first. You cant really generalize for both. Coose a sub or amp and the other will be much easier. I noticed that you are in new york, there is bound to be someone on this forum and a few others that own an RL-P that will let you take a listen. Then you will have heard both. Oh and as far as the SI subs, I probly shouldnt have made the comment about them because they are still in production for the first run. You will have to wait on them. But from many others they are amazing subs too.

Just read all of them. Denim, great review, very well written. I do believe that you have made me even more reassured on my recent purchase.

33A - Focal 13" Access Subwoofer
I have a limited amount of experence with them. I heard one in a sound board at a local shop. Atleast I think it was the access line... Mind you that ths was in a demo room so the sound will be different then in a car. The sub sounded very good to my ears. It was ran off what looked to be an older PPI amp. Tech at the shop said it was 450 watts. I do beleive that this sub had some SQL attributes. I dont off hand remember what they were asking for it, but I remember it was quite a bit. If I may ask or suggest, have you looked at the Sound Splinter RL-P or the Stereo Integrity Mag D2? These are highly reguarded SQL woofers. I feel that they will do just as good of a job if not better then the focals. Just a thought.

as much as I love you guys, you are actually only half the reason for me wantning to go. The thought of running into some nice cars that might want to play a little on the way is just tormenting me. What freeways do I TAKE TO GET THERe? (dam caps ) I am drawing ablank right now. 405 to... or is it just 405 all the way? i have a feeling its 405 to 110. im gonna look it up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i would play with you some cept im currently slightly worried about my tranny you'd probably kick my ass though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> whats wrong with the tranny? Too bad its acting up. It would've been fun to play a little. I'll bet it would pretty close at low speeds seeing as how you are probably geared more for lower speeds. Mine will still do 0-60 un der 6, but it really doesnt shine until 40+. I'll bet you love that v8 power. I was sitting at an empty stop sign earilier tonight and deciided to turn off dsc, rev it up a littl and then drop the clutch. Those tires did not want to stop spinnin I need to work on more controlled launches now that v8 will not let you cover up mistkaes like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i dont know whats wrong with it, it really lags around 2k rpm and sometimes makes a clicking sound when its lagging no, you'd kick my ass, i'll do 0-in maybe 7, if i didnt have stock gears then it would be a whole different story grrr... stop making me remember how i dont have the money for a T56 conversion <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The laging and clicking sounds like a carbon build up issue, and it could also be caused by an EGR valve that is going bad. EGRs are cheap from O'rileys and the carbon can be fixed by running an engin cleaner. I used to use the brand below. It can be foind at Autozone. http://www.berrymanproducts.com/Default.aspx?tabid=1 Also Lucas Oil makes great products too, for your tranny and engine, some good chit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well im glad to hear its not something big think i can put 800 miles on it with out a serious problem? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I dont see why not, but then again I am not there to really take a look at it. I would suggest you get an oil change and add the lucas oil additive, and the first time you fill up use the cleaner. The long trip may actually help it out some. If you are really worried, find a mechanic that will do a "free diognostic" - The Stereo Integrity Cobra.
