Sub-30Hz tuning
Did you have a question? or were you stating songs you believed to have sub 30hz music? because I know that Late night tip is not as low as you believe. Id bet on 37hz or around there.

Fi BL, SSA Icon, or DD 9500??
Amps... I would not recommend running any amp daily at .5 ohm. Some never have issues some do. Just play it safe and look for long term reliability. And this is coming from someone who runs amps strapped at .35 or .175 at times...Even ran them strapped at .175 (.0875 each) to see if they would fry...

Fi BL, SSA Icon, or DD 9500??
2 10" BL's will be leaps louder then a single 9512 if set up correctly. I have no experience with the Icons, but I can see by the specs that they would be a good set of 10's as well for clean sound and moderate output. 2 BLs 10" were 2db+ louder then an MT 12, BTL 12, 9512, and mag 12" on 1800RMS.

Jntar needs help
Update... Took the speaker out, Imp reads a steady 3.5 ohm so its not messed up. Checked the RCA's. They are Street wire zero noise 2.0. Connection is solid, very solid... No moisture present. While I was in tehre I added some polyfill that I had meaning to do for quite a while. I would have noticed it then. No visibly grounding out... Im at a loss...I just tuned the setup for 2 hours (cause one of my tard friends got button happy) No static...Guess its just a waiting game.

Jntar needs help
This is a new one to me. So it got cold here and I turned my car stereo on about a week ago. The right midrange in the kick sterted to make a static/crackling sound. I immediatly turned the radio off until I could check it over. I checked my wiring and everything is secure. I turned the radio back on and the problem is not there anymore. The speaker then worked and no static. Two weeks go by and its randomly doing it again. I am at a loss. Ive checked everything but the impedance of the driver. Who knows maybe its on its death bed. Squeak, you do warranties? lawl! J/K I love these Coustic speakers and really dont want to go through the hassle of finding another to replace. Anyways, anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the IHoP
Going to sounds dumb, but is the inside dirty or have you given it a good dusting? It could be overheating.

Here its new cars get a 2 year break, then every year after that. Breaks including parking, tint, emmissions, all lights, all body pannels intact, you even have to have the extention to a breather if your car came with one. Arkansas has no iunspection anymore and on top of that....if your cats fall off you dont have to replace. Mine just happen to fall off from a hacksaw. I was told my many that I had the nices sounding truck they had ever heard. '94 TBI hooker headers true duel exaust with center x pipe ran back to duel 40 series flow masters 3"in and 3" out. dumped right after the cab. Oh I loved that truck lasted into the 160k miles, and I was ROUGH on that truck. Ok enough with my side track topic...oh wait! Its the hOp back to the grind.- Welcome to the IHoP
We have inspections here. IMO it works rather well. We dont have the junkers that other states *Cough Arkansas* that Ive lived in has. There is the occational junker, but as soon as a police officer sees it the vehicle is on spot judged allowable or not. As always there are ways around it, like paying a little extra for dark tint or so on, but The revenu goes into the roads so whatever...- Welcome to the IHoP
