yea if you want more noise port it, if you want a tighter bass feel seal it. they'll both be loud though..but a ported one will get you better spl score..

depends on his taste, i'm a cheapo anyway, so i say go wt the cheapest, sound really sholdn't change much from the diffrence.

you mean u've neva heard speakers that clear b4, unless the deck talks to you it doesn't reproduce anytype of sound, and yea u need to match ur gain wt ur deck.. i've read that you turn ur volume up all the way and just have the subs play, then turn the gain up accordingly until you hear clipping then turn the gain down a lil, bit and be done with it. :ph34r:
