  5. You can make your own double idler. Just need to find the size you want and buy 2 idlers from the parts store and bolt them in where the alternator bolts go. But like i said not sure on the diameter size. Another option for the amp is to have it bolted all the way to the back. Kinda like that except i think your battery bank is right there, so it would have to go behind the batt bank. as i typed that it sounds like a headache. you could always mount it inside the car, in front of the rear window, wt a nice rack IDK, just my thoughts as i stare at the clock ready to leave work
  6. Ok so what if I have a trailer, and pull person B's car into the facility because it is quote unquote un-drivable? Would it then be 1 ticket? If it is myself and just a passenger?
  7. I see nothing wrong wt truconcepts post. was actually about to add it to my sig lol. 7.5k x4=30,000w Well all i can say is dont get a ford or Lincoln as an SUV because you will have a hell of a time trying to find dual and triple alt brackets
  8. I bet that sub weighs as much as you do bro lol
  9. On another note steve what you doing with those amps i need
  10. I guess the thing thats been pushing me is this board, i just save up until I can afford what i want. Sometimes that can take months or yrs. I saved 20$ every week when i was in highschool and saved 240$ or so and bought 2 RE Sexxx's Then saved a couple more months and bought a jbl 1200. Then had to save up for wire and box materials. Looking back i could buy all of that in 1 paycheck these days, but now I have more bills and other priorities. steve's got kids and a wife, i have niether and still cant understand wtf im doing with my money, so its all dependent upon how much you want to spend on your hobby not necessarily being rich or poor.
  11. Sooo what is stopping person A from giving person B their pass once they are already parked style
  12. Wait so your saying just pay the 10$? I mean Lucas Oil is nothing but a big parking lot with a track anyway lol
  13. i guess i can buy 1 recone a week and umm get some stuff done. The gym has been taking up my time after work lol
  14. Buy a new fuse holder. Add more and bigger washers to the fuse holder. Clean the ends. Check the voltage before the fuse and after it, with the system turned up a bit. If its melting im sure you will have a lower voltage after the fuse. edit: I think i bought a cheap 1 and just put in bigger bolts. But if you run multiple runs you will have less of an issue as well.(inefficient but ehh)
  15. Has happened to me plenty of times. make sure your grounds are good Do you have just wire or are they crimped at teh end? If just wire crimp them to some connectors to help dissipate some of the heat.
  16. well if its pcm controlled that makes a littble bit of sense. It see's the voltage dropping and compensates for it. But the idle voltage is bad.
  17. chuck ur more like a wooly mammoth lol
  18. found this pretty helpfull for ur car http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/forum/audio-visual-electronics-10/h-o-alternator-replacement-big-3-wiring-32622/ also looks like everyones 180a alt is around 350$ But im sure you can find used online for cheaper.
  19. I agree with the big 3. you can get a decent alt for 300$ An extra battery would be cheaper, but depending on what the stock alt is an alt may be your best bet.
