also diff calculators have diff calculations they use. So i dont think any online is 100% accurate i use the 12v though.

slot port is the same as building a sealed box, lol u just have a shorter piece with another piece connected to it. just 2 extra pieces of wood

^^^correct it cuts off at 14.7v I have a traditional 14.4v system, but i had a diode in there to run 15.1v, usually sat around 14.8v though. and yes newer cars charge up to 15v. Basically i took the diode out and it runs fine, but like stefan said on newer cars it could cause problems.

usually when u install a new amp it will have i guess u could call it surge current. Kind of like installing a new battery and it sparks a little bit from the cars electric system.. not a big deal honestly

There probably bigger so they dont melt. Ive had some that have melted pretty bad before. More material = better heat distro. It shouldn't spark that bad, if thats the case just touch the power wire to the + battery terminal first. It sparks... Then connect it to the fuse

glue should hold it. I've seen ppl use no screws at all, but hella clamps. only problem i see with drilling them deeper into the wood is you breaking the wood accidently.
