  4. Man after my dog got sick we gt dog insurance. Actually is pretty cheap and reduces surgery stuff massively. Good luck though
  5. guy on the trueprotein forum goes on
  6. I might mess around with this sometime this week. +.6 v would do me good The second link is for float voltage, no need for it, but hooking it up to a switch wouldn't be bad. for a shtf moment while driving. http://www.smartgaug...uk/alt_mod.html http://www.smartgaug.../alt_float.html ---------------------------------------
  7. I was reading on trueprotein forum about some stolen cc 3's But that epsilon company recently got hacked too so idk if its related. http://66.147.240.153/~trueprot/showthread.php?p=109321#post109321 I had copied the mix from that new ON hydrobuilder, was looking around and saw that and got scared lol Plus i couldn't get the protein % up high enough with the added amino acids
  8. Just wire ur negative to the bolt that ur alt attaches to your engine. Part of the big 3 really. also bus bars are more efficient. than going from batt post to batt post http://www.smartgauge.co.uk/batt_con.html Also for your stock side post batt, just use a longer bolt.
  9. in my navi from the front to the back is about 18ft i bought 25ft since you get a better deal if your going to run power and ground all the way back, plus big 3 then yea 50ft would be more than enough. weldingsupply.com is good stuff
  10. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=HO+alternator http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 i couldn't resist the first link lol
  11. how are your inputs set to go to ur amp? im thinking the signal ur sending to your amp is probably low.
  12. I was being a smart ass also that wire is fckin expensive

I mean what more can you ask for they are back in the championship again. I went to the game last yr because we hosted it in Indianapolis, this yr ppl i know at Butler drove down to houston, but I didn't have money for the tickets. Last years tickets was 250$ and i wasn't even on the floor lol. Brad Stevens is going to retire at 38 lol.
  15. take the wattage and divide by 100 or take the wattage multiply by .7 for efficiency divide that by 12 that number is how many Amps it pulls
  16. wonder how much it would cost to run this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litz_wire
  17. I would think so if its internally regulated the regulator is already set. https://www.dcpowerinc.com/fit/1997~Honda~Civic~1.6L-I4-D16/13649-180-hp.html looks like they are set at 14.8v Newer cars are pcm controlled
  18. well my regulator doesn't allow my voltage above 14.4v I think that's pretty standard. unless you have an externally regulated system.
  19. i dont think 15+v is healthy Plus alot of amps will go into protect if there that high.
  20. yea bad alt. i got a 98, gf has an 07 both voltage stays at 14v yea only reason u haven't gotten stuck is cuz ur battery is new, otherwise i'd say u'd goto start ur car and click, click
  21. yea check at the batt that its 14v or so with the car on. Then go back and check the inside meter. If there's a difference u might have wired bad. Other wise bad alt.
  22. 1000w amp should be easy to find. Only thing i would say is depending on which amp you get make sure you get the right coil to wire it accordingly
  23. Well dam lol ohio gens or mean green. I have a mean green alt as well. Seems like alot of companies are hit and miss these days.
  24. Ive had my EA alt since 2005.. Had it on my town car, now its on my navi
