  5. yea i got the 4.6 lincoln as well, just put a thrush glasspack on mines cuz it was only like 26$ plus the clamps... Cut out the muffler and took of the resonator at the tail end... It isn't loud to me, it kinda just gave it a grumble....which is what ur prolly lookin for.. Im tryin to make it louder though, people have said to wait until the glass wears out and it'll be louder... Im not tryin to take my cats off either...any ideas? I might try and cut the why to just two seperate runs of exhaust and a flowmaster on the other side...we'll see
  6. i think there is an age old thread on this, i guess it wasn't stickied, lol
  7. 5000watts, 250amp alt, 1 kinetic 2400.... i have no prollems, bae bae...lol idk my amp is pretty efficient though
  8. well ur system could have strained ur alt to failure i have 3 diff batts and haven't had any problems, 2400, 1800, and 800cca well if u aren't havin a problem wt the stock batt and alt, u prolly fine...just get ur batts charged
  9. get an 18
  10. i'd say get ur alt tested take to and auto store, cuz i dont think the batt tester goes above 1000cca also u can just get ur batts charged.... im just thinkin if urplayin it loud for a long period ur batts might need a good chargin and see wat happens
  11. well they say they can handle at least 2000rms... way underated imo
  12. like i was told along time ago, extra batts dont help ease the load, It only lets u wang longer wt the car off.. and ur gonna have dimming, regardless once u start pullin so many amps. and i think wat shiz is tryin to say is, if u play ur music for long periods of time at full tilt u will prolly run into prollems
  13. u should be fine off of the stock alt..imo i ran a jbl 1200 off of stock alt and batt and never had any problems.... but to each his own.... And there is nothing wrong wt re-manufactured alternators, people buy them from autopart stores all the time...ever wonder where a core charge came from?
