dont know i had the 3000db i think it was, blew a cap and a resistor in the amp, still cuts on but i cant hook up any inputs, lol... but any way. It was supposed to be 2300watts at 1 ohm i had it at .5, then i had the 2500. and let me just say that it was a major difference so yea def, not rated power.

so ur sayin that 3000watts to a btl is a bad thing? :morning: but really who cares if he built the box or not? someone sounds a lil jealous , lol

i had mine orion at .5 daily never cut off, however, if voltage gets to low it will, but comes right back on. After i got my new alt i had no worries. it was the wcc version, but same amp just take the plate off, lol

Only thing that sucks is the ipods eq doesn't have a custom setting. Thats the rem switch to my amp btw, lol.

more watts doesn't always mean louder.... it's more about the install. Just make sure ur box is on point. my old system 2 sexxx's and 1200 watts was louder than my 2 18 sx wt 2500watts. basiclly my 18in box didnt fit in my trunk so i just shaved it down and half assed it and it showed.
