lol, hope its not fedex ground. I worked thier and packages got the foot everyday.... Especially home delivery, hahahaha
  6. well i have a 3000db and its said to put out 2300@1ohm, but has said to bench 2100... I mean but as most people say you need to double your power to gain db's. So if your just gonna burp i would say get a more powerfull amp i dont think 1800 is gonna cut it, unless the mic is in the box, lol. But its all on the install and car(which people forget to mention)lol
  7. enough wt the bashing, someone help me calculate this mofo, besides that is old the new one is like soo.. duh

  10. What is no bob, lol
  11. baiscly it would look like this the trunk is black, and the box is in red. or here is a pic wt out the box in thier
  12. well i have the seat, out, lol, it was actually easy to take out. I'm brain storming, but yea, putting that port through th edeck would work or if i really wanna be ballsy, cut the seats and have the port running str8 through the seat, but like have it flush, so it would look like a hole in the seat going back into the box. But wt the deck the only problem is i wouldn't know what the hell the box was tuned to since it would be an extending port. Basiclly my trunk looks like, well that pic y ou have above, so the box is gonna be dropped down in thier and the back is gonna be extended into that lil hole like in the pic above. DO i just calculate that extra piece as another box then add everything up?

you needa get6 that thing rimmed up, i hate stock rims, but, thats just me.
  14. ^^ i was thinkin that. Its a lincoln TC, pics are in show off section newb, j/k I think i'ma try to take my seats out and see what it look like. I know, that thier is a big ass plate in between my trunk and cab though, except for a lil 8in or so area. I would hate to cut my seats, but i got an idea of just cuttin that part out and then actually makin that into a port, man that would be nice, but i dont see it happenin any time soon.
  15. Ok so since i have a trunk, and its a luxury car all of the bass is staying int he trunk. I cut a hole in the panel in the back and put a gril over it, and its loud enough in the cab, but i got and and listened to it yesterday and my treble is still killing my bass, i mean when you get out you can hear it but not like you should. I went back to the trunk and i could feel a nice breeze of air exscaping through the cracks. What to do, i was thinking of either cutting a bigger hole taking off the whole panel or taking out the back seat well trying to.
  16. less dimmage. i'm running 2000 watts off of a stock alt and batt. It dims when i'm at lights but while driving barely.
  17. go wt the pg, pa makes some good stuff but i dont think that line is that good of quality.
  18. its actually ported... Just diffrent from what i've seen.. Basiclly its two openings, 1 on the inside thats the 3.5 opening and the other is on the front wt the 1.5 opening.
  19. maybe its cuz i have 2 18's sealed???
  20. http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=optyelove even cheaper, 154+ship, for d31 edit$38.05 for shipping lol also i'm still a lil confused, i mean the everstart mxx has 1000cca's so how is the optima better? Other than being deep cycle?
  21. ^^^ I think your talkin about the xxx's. The sx has plenty low end. Dont know if it more than the RL though. Its fun making peoples descisons difficult... But IMO, you won't be disspointed either way.
  22. http://img211.imageshack.us/my.php?image=samp3rb5we.jpg its not letting me post the pic, but oh well... I get the rest of it, i just dont get wher the 3.5 is coming from since 30-28.5=1.5... but the inside is most likely correct, that 25in piece doesnt go all teh way to the wall, since it is 28.5... OHHHHH, ok, 28.5-25=3.5 So, yea, that is correct, i think i dont see why the port is inside of the box though...
