keep xxx for mini?
Keep the XXX. Instead of throwing more money at it to make it louder, I'm sure theres other things you can do to better your system.

Where did you first hear about Fi?
After being around here for a few years, discussion slowly picked up about Fi. I then switched out my SX since it was going to be difficult to get a second one and I picked up two Qs.

Thanks! I just realized that not all of the pictures are coming up. Looks like a forgot a few. I'll see whatelse I can find.

Putting the pieces together
If you are willing to spend the cash, I think that would be a simple decision. I'd like to also agree with the others and recommend the Q. It is such an amazing driver and you could definantly get away running it sealed.

12" Fi Q
Let me first start off by thanking the guys at Fi. Scott, Shawn and Nick are awesome guys to deal with. I would have no problem recommending them to a friend or dealing with them myself again. They got back to me extremely quickly whenever I had questions. It just blows my mind that someone like Scott can work an eight hour day, then come home and continue to help his customers. On to the goods, I have a pair of DVC 1 ohm 12

Ford Explorer Worklog
Is it the 4004 or the 8004? I'm been wanting to get some components for the doors and do some upgrades with the speakers, and I'd like a matching amp to my Orion 2500d. But at the same time, I do not know as much about the 4 channels and 2 channels so I guess I need to figure out what I need first. I just remember you had a matching amp.

Scott,Nick, or Shawn: GOT A QUESTION
My guess is Nick is in Virginia. Scott is in Nevada and Shawn is in Florida? You might have to wait until Monday bro. I could be wrong though.

Review: 12" Q
It is kind of difficult to compare a single sub to duals but from what I can tell is the Q sounds more musical. For the price, hands down I would choose the Q. I want to say the Qs get louder, but obviously they should. I wish I could give a better opinion but its tough.

Need Help Finding "Specialty Screws"
Ok, I'll keep trying. I'm working on digging up black ones though. Wow 1/4" isn't much, espically since your having a cap head like that.

Ford Explorer Worklog
This is a never ending work log that I should of thrown together months ago, but am too lazy to do. I call it work in progress because I feel as if it can never be finished. Most of it is done with, but there is always something I can do to better my install. This is my second install in my Ford Explorer, the first being a single 12" RE SX ported to 32Hz in a 3 cu. ft. box. It was powered by a RE 12.1 amp. Enough about my old install lets get back to my pride and joy. My new set-up is: (2) Two 12" Fi Q Orion 2500d CarPC 400W inverter for Playstation Lilliput Touchscreen My favorite part about my install is my false floor. I wanted to design a floor, so I could easily get to my CarPC and take out if needed, and just overall ease of use. I wanted it to function well but just not be so complicated that things would break. If you have any ideas of things to change or things you think would work better, please let me know. I am very open to suggestions and love to hear how others would of done it.

Ok. That makes sense then, its more of a sheet metal screw, I just realized he said that, but I didn't really put two and two together. I'll see what I can dig up.

Ok that is what I call a cap head. The guy said it was a #4? Earlier you said it was about 3/16 which is a #10... I know we're nit pickin' here but I'm trying to get this right. I looked in our catalog tonight and I can get you everything from a #2 all the way to a 3/8 with a cap head like that. Just matching the thread is going to be the problem. Also most of these are stainless so its kind of a weathered looking steel, its not exactlly black. Let me know if you want more information. BTW, I know I can get black cap screws like that, just not a gloss black. Its more of what you pictured above.

What kind of head is on it? You said an allen head, but is it like a button, cap, countersunk? I work at a hardware store and can normally get just about anything. Let me know, I go to work at 4 EST so I could check tonight. Get back to me.
