  1. Im about to purchase all of my wiring so i can get started building my system, but i want to make sure i buy the right stuff. My system consists of one ss rl-p off of an aq2200d at 4 ohms, polk momo component set, and a kicker zx200.4 running those. (stock electrical). I talked to a guy at knuconcepts and he told me i should get the 0 gauge kit, with a knd-23 distro block that has 2 0 gauge ports, and three 4 guage ports. He said i should run the 0 gauge kit to one 0 gauge port, the run some 1/0 from the other port to the aq2200d. then run some 4g from one of the 4g ports to the kicker. If that made any sense could you tell me if that works? lol
  2. Lol i know what your sayin. it did sound pretty nice though. but then again i've yet to hear a supreme system!
  3. You could buy a XCON almost for the price of their recone. LOLs haha! there prices are rediculous!
  4. thanks. i guess it will just be a paperweight then. lol
  5. My friends dad has a 10w7 that either blew up, or just ripped the whole surround. I was wondering if there is any kind of recone kit for it. jl has them but they are 300 dollars. lol

  8. thanks. ill probably do the dowel and 45 idea. thanks for the help.
  9. Is there any other input before i start building it?
  10. How should i brace it?
  11. I am ready to build a sealed box for my single ss rl-p 18, but im not sure which way to face the sub. i have plenty of room on all side. My car is a lincoln towncar if that helps. Also, should i go with the recomended box size of 4 cubes? And one more question, should i only double baffle the front, or should i double baffle everything? Thanks
  12. Shut up. Whats wrong with it?
  13. if you can wire them to one ohm, you could get the aq2200d. It's really cheap($389).
  14. the only part that is true about that is that i cleaned the sawdust. and i took 1 picture. Obviously you took 2 since there are 2 pictures Hes got a point there. lol
  15. Any other input before i have to try and get it returned and have another one ship out? I really don't want to have to do that!
  16. Has anyone had this problem.
  17. Theres a metal grate over the pole vent, and i still cant see anything. could i just leave it in there or will it mess it up?
  18. So i just got my components in the mail today, and i was very excited. lol. but then as i take out one of the drivers, i hear something inside the dust cap rattling around! I tested it out and i can hear it rattle at low volumes, but it goes away at higher volumes. Do i have to send it back in, or is there anything i can do? The rattle is only in one driver.
  19. Yea. i just wanted to be sure it was ok. thanks.
  20. No one can help a brotha out? lol
  21. This may be a stupid question, but i want to be sure before i go and buy this. I want to run this amp(kicker zx200.4) for only one component set. I could just bridge it so it does 100 watts x2 at 4 ohms, right? or is bridging a 4 channel to a two channel not a good idea? thanks
  22. Wow thats alot of damage!
  23. Thanks for all of the info guys! i'll probably use plastic plates for a little while until i can build some wood or masonite ones, (it seems a little hard for my woodworking abilities.) lol
