  1. i dont know if id have enough room in the front....the speakers are kinda mounted funny underneath the door panel. but how would i go about doing that?
  2. right now in the t bird i have pioneer 6x8's that were in the car when i got them(the ones you can get from walmart). they are nice speakers but arent really waht im looking for. im trying to find something that has clear mids and highs and decent bass response...i know i cant expect too much bass out of a 6x8 but i was hoping someone could point me toward a nice set. thanks.
  3. Why don't he save his money so he can buy a car/truck/suv? at least one person agrees with me.....im tellin you bro, the backpack things an idea, but its not practical at all. if u like home audio, chit experiment with it...but keep it at HOME....not in your backpack lol.
  4. im a sucker for a fords or lincolns...especially a mark viii...but i love dodge trucks from mid 90's to 02 or the year before they changed the body style on the ram.
  5. oh yeah i know jl is good....they are just not worth the money.
  6. haha damn...and probably cost a grip at that too. im sure as hell glad i found Fi or else id be wastin all my money on jl subs too. i was originally gonna get 2 w7's....then i found out about Fi....completely changed my mind.
  7. i say wait til you get a car to start experimenting with crap. then you will actually have a use for the stuff your doing.
  8. i payed 420 bucks for both and he gave me the type r free.
  9. and im really not interested in sq i just dont want something that will overpower my music. but it seems like i made a good choice on the subs.
  10. gotcha. what was your setup in your old tc?
  11. thats exactly what im looking for. something accurate when im playing it at lower volumes and somethin thats loud as hell when i crank it.
  12. well maybe you are the king of bass....sorry i doubted you but i still wont believe it until i see some proof lol
  13. yeah i dont really want them to blend in....but i dont want them to completely drown the sound out either. and to RIckRolled i know the Q's are sq orientated subs but im not lookin for strictly sq....i just dont want anything that is gonna sound like chit if im playing music everyday...and if the bl's are good enough in the sq area im going to keep them...
  14. i bought 2 12" Bl's from a guy here in chicago for cheap....i really did want the Bl's at first but after thinkin about it, i want somethin thats got good sound quality and solid, pounding bass as well. i know the Bl's pound pretty hard and are basicly designed for spl but are they okay in sq? i have never really heard what a q sounds like in comparison to the bl. im not a stickler for amazing sound quality, but i want something thats kind of clear but can still scare people when they hear it and have some flex. my final system isnt going in until next summer so i have time to "decide". of course after i buy the Bl's i ask this question. and if any of that doesnt make sense tell me and ill try to explain better.
  15. haha, no problem. i figured somebody else wanted to say it too but wouldnt, so i did.
  16. he really does have a point, and its a good one at that. wen ppl talk lik dis on da comp it rly do get annoyin afta a wile. that was actually kind of annoying typing that way. oh yeah, and with almost 30k posts....i think m5 belongs here, and fits in just fine. i try my best not to look like an idiot when im typing on the computer, sometimes i just cant help it though.
  17. haha....i wouldnt be buyin anything til next summer anyway. so its all good. are the nightshades in yet, or did JUST buy them and dont have them yet.
  18. haha....take whatever parts i dont want off. thats a good one.all i can think of would be the texas plates...you could keep those. does it come with the nightshades?!
  19. really? i can never find any nice tc's. i was just lookin more towards your old one since it already had a system in it...
  20. sorry to hear that man...but if you get it back and dont want it, let me know, because i would. lol, i love those lincolns. thats my favorite tc body style.
  21. well sorry about that then.
  22. i do treat it as such. i dont disrespect any forum i am a member on, by any means.
  23. im not really worried about my posting grammar right now, as long as he understands what i am saying. if i wanted to i could post like i would type a paper for school, but i just choose not to. its your choice not to respect my post, you arent obligated to, but ill post however i feel like it. no disrespect intended.
  24. you still have the older biege tc? that ones is the one i like the most.
  25. good cuz that chit is annoyin as hell goin through the halls. its not cool, funny, entertaining, or anything. it just makes u look like a disrespectful ass(no offense). as a matter of fact, half the music u played i liked, but its just really immature. u would be surprised how many ppl get pissed at u when u do that. i dont even play my system when i pull into the parkin lot in the mornin..... but wutever man, do wut u want i guess. u will grow out of it and into bigger things...maybe edit: on top of all that, it sounded like chit anyway. just wait til u get a car to start experimentin with chit like that. i find it very interesting that someone that goes to the exact same school as me would be on this board...
