my exhaust almost drowns out my system now when im at full throttle....but still i never thought you could be pulled over for exhaust thats "too loud"

cops are just haters....not all of em, but most of em. ive gotten pulled over for noise pollution for my exhaust and in my brothers car his stereo...no ticket just warnin. but man were they hatin.

i have the subs ordered, but it will be some time before i get started. i still have to order the amp, have a box made, wiring, etc... plus school starts back up in about a month so i have to start getting ready for that. im hoping to have it all done by late september early october.

sc was 5 speed i though? oh and i have seen plenty of 6 speed and 5 speed conversions on mark viii's before. as well as complete terminator swaps(03-04 cobra drivetrain swap if you didnt know that) but the only color i would buy a mark viii in is red or black...really thats the only color i like any car in. i hate the color of my car now, and if i keep it long enough its gettin a red and black color scheme..somethin like this

yeah my dad has 4 lincolns right now a 2001 town car, 94 mark viii,89 mark vii LSC, 92 mark vii LSC SE ive been a lincoln/ford guy ever since i knew what one was, i grew up around lincolns. hes had his marks since they were all brand new. i love lincolns...all my friends think im a lame for likin "grandma cars" but i dont care, i love em. i never got into the tc's and conti's much, but man you got a nice lookin tc, i gotta show you a picture of my old mark, i think u would like it. i wish i would have gotten a supercoupe when i bought the pos i got now, but i wasnt thinkin about it, i just needed a car haha...

i had it in my head.. then when i went to say it i could not remember!. i didnt think the song would wang like it did... but it had some great notes... when are you gonna get your system togather. i didnt think that song would beat that hard either...i knew it would probably bang pretty hard, but i didnt expect that. not exactly sure when it will be all done though.... im going to be getting 2 12" bl's soon and a member on steve meades forums will be building me a box for them when i get back from new orleans on the 12th. then i have to buy an amp and wiring and im getting a new hu, so it might be a while. a couple months maybe. but by the time i get back from n.o. i will need to start getting ready for school, so ill have a lot on my hands. im hoping to have it done by at least mid september, as long as i have everything i need, im not worried about it too much, but i do want to get it done. and if i can find me another black 98 mark viii im going to jump on that in a second, so it may be longer still. that is really the car i planned on doing a system for, but my brother wrecked it... edit: forgot the word "it" at the end

thanks guys.....i ended up actually gettin 2 bl's. i found that btls take a lot of power to get the really loud, but bl's sound goo running off of 1000-1500 rms.

i realize that. its just like any other video somebody makes of their system and posts on here....you still hear it on your comp. speakers...

theres a kinda new song out called Black Mags by: The Cool Kids....i was wondering if there's anybody that wouldn't mind making a video playing this song. ive only heard it on my computer sound system, and it seems like it beats pretty hard and low... i just want to hear what it sounds like in a car wit a nice sound system....anybody want to do it? thanks guys

I have. Not a ton of room behind that back seat. You could probably get away with 2 8's ported, one 10 ported, or one 12 sealed. any pictures by chance? or box dimmensions?

well i think im pretty set on the BTL's now....but about the box design...what exactly is the horn loaded design?

he said he doesnt want the bl....said its too much for his jeep. im thinkin maybe some kicker 10's...cvr's l5's maybe. ttt....nobody has done a box for a wrangler before?

that bl may be perfect for what hes looking for i will talk to him tomorrow and see if hes interested in it. and as far as max dimensions i have no clue what the dimensions are in the trunk of a wrangler....i just know its SMALL. i was hoping someone here may have done a system for a wrangler before....but next time i see him i will get those, unless someone on here has them.

a friend of mine wants to add subs to his car and i need a good box design to fit in the back of it...might be kinda vague just let me know if you need more info. he wants 12's...but will settle for 10's
