  3. I'm interested in this alarm. I have some feature questions, and DEI will not answer them on the phone due to "liability issues". They'll only speak to the shop owner. Well, my preferred shop owner basically contracts out a revolving alarm installer.. so neither of them are fimiliar with this alarms capabilites. I'm shocked that DEI cannot answer simple feature questions on their own product. I'm not asking what wires to cut, I just want to know what it can do basically. I want to know if the 7900 can start via a time. The computstar alarm, allows you to have the car start by time, temp, or voltage. Does the 7900 do this? Can I add a small, non lcd remote to this (DEI said no)?
  4. nice work!
  5. I may be able to pass some out at NOPI. Have Aaron contact me if needed.
  6. Why didn't you just mount under the rear seat? It seems like you went through a lot to get it to mount under the front.
  7. We need some more information. Things like what ohm load are you looking to run the pair, your budget... etc.
  8. Its up to you if its worth it. You'll be looking at $75+ shipping to get it fixed. Do not send to CIA Engineering.
  9. You don't need a 300 amp fuse, and 2 gauge will work fine for now if not driven to hard. Yes, they do have fans, but make sure it is working. It'll be obvious it is, it's attached under the center peice of the shroud. Even if it is working, the amp will get hot, but should never turn off due to thermal problems. Running that amp at 2+ ohm is a great idea. I'd recommend getting 0g wire, and the big 3.
  10. Welcome back! Let me know when they have another position open down there...
  11. looks fimiliar. install is coming along nicely

  13. I don't see anywhere where he said 4 alts. Thread title says "when is it time to run 2" I don't think you'll need a second alt with that setup. Sure wouldn't hurt though.
  14. great setup! I loove the t4k!! I'm not a fan of area ports for daily, but well done. Must sound great!
  15. I'm not sure about the subs, but I just wanted to say nice choice of amp!

  18. Grow up, get educated, save money, buy a house, and build a real setup.
  19. You've got to talk him into different tail lights and grill. Also the decal on the windshield is pretty bad. I know you have an eye for that stuff, but not all vehicles owners do
