  4. It's a real close call. I would have picked SX a couple years ago, but the L7's have really came along. Like Kent said, the 06 models are the shiz. Go L7's
  5. I thought about that, and putting the x-over in it also, but I'm cheap. Just getting some pods made. That would also be to much wood/fiberglass on my door for me to compete in most street classes.
  6. I had one, and wasn't to happy with them. Maybe a strapped pair will be better.
  7. I started to install the amp today after work...

  11. That will hurt score, but I don't think that is what he's shooting for.
  12. Because there is no need for it. I don't get why people make a big deal out of it.
  13. $400 set, I hope funky is good! I'm thinking something small like this http://www.ignitionmagazine.co.nz/assets/i...aa173844P01.jpg
  14. Yea unscrew that cone thing, and screw in tweeter
  15. no, its a component set. sorry didn't mean to say "co-ax" I meant mount the tweeter in the midbass so it'll look like a co-ax
  16. I found another one that I beleive undercoverpunk did, but they were large. I was just trying to get ideas for something small for my door and points on what not to have done. Is it a no no to mount my tweeter in the co-ax?
  17. thanks. My pods will be mounted on my doors. I found Effendi's, but its a bunch of red x's. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...topic=3163&st=0
  18. Anyone know where I can look at pics of pods? I'm having some started today for my jeep. I'm not building them myself. Is there anything I need to be aware of or tell the person making them? I don't know jack about them. I'm installing my Kicker RS6.5 component set in there. I'll probably mount the tweeter in the co-ax. Any comments, opinions? Me competiting in db drag street class means I can't have anything large or alot of glass on my door.
  19. I have pics and vids of this ride. He's a pretty cool guy to talk to.
