Newer cars don't sound bad, the reason is...he'd like to add amp's to his car. I have not seen a stock H/U with sub-outs on them....till then....replace the factory H/U and the security stuff isn't that big of an issue.

anything 12" and over sounds like shit in a single cab. I'd stick with 1 12" or two 10" unless you don't care about the sound.

Your doing a 149.6 with the L7's and two matts?

Have any pics of your setup?? CRX's are the shit. I don't know how far you are from Jersey...there is db drag in Atco, NJ in August there...should be a big show.

I wouldn't budget my system to $300. I'd take the $300 and start to build on a system. I highly suggest replacing the stock head unit first. Its going to clean up your speakers...and give future subwoofer amps a clean output.

Sup guys...we're having a compeition coming here on the 6th...it'll be on DBTV so check it out!! I won't be using my car...I'll be using a friends Durango. Going to use a Orion H2 15.2 and a 2500D. Basically building the system for this comp because that would never fit in my t-bird. I'll start posting pics as I build the system and will post results and some video on what I hit on the 6th. Any guesses?? I"m thinking low 140's....I have no clue what it'll do. HCCAfan are you currently running H2's?

L7's aren't picky on their airspace, they actually sounds alright in small boxes. So you'll be ok.

Any higher model of most large companies will do. Mainly when the speakers are using different materials such as silk tweeters ... OR Get a good basic component set. No need for Cystal or MB quart components.
