if you have the $$$$$$$ I would get both a clamp and a dmm and yes get both with rms . if you realy have the cash i would get ac/dc clamp like a fluke 337a you will love it forever.. fluke is high end for car audio use , extech at sears is acurate enough for most car audio needs and much cheaper .

i think it is multimeter ohm readings for 1ohm / 2ohm < dc resistance = .7 ohm / 1.4 ohm >

what effect on spl will the xmax coil have. i get that it is for more excursion but is that at the expense of spl ? and if so how much ? or is it realy an upgrade either way . also is xmax coil interchangeable or is the motor different when ordered with xmax coil?

thanks for all the help i got a 15 btl motor and basket . new style 1 slug full loaded d1 daily but not universal close enough wow what a beast pics online do this sub no justice. makes my q15 look like a toy . now it's time to get a recone.

i ment that i want phillips head . and i was wondering if they were matching the looks of the one in the amp- vs- black or steel i have grub screws but they are not chrome like on the amps.

phillips are they the same as whats in the amps ?

i got my amp yesterday came in good shape . got # 6 . cosmetics not bad on this amp at all . had an extra set of mounting holes drilled at one end . set screws were alittle worn but defenetly very servicable as is . i have not pluged it in yet but i have no doubt that this thing will work when i do . thanks for the sticker , didn't expect that with a used amp. this was a great deal for this price . do you sell the set screws by any chance ? if so i need a set . if you have them i would also like to buy a set of backup set screws . thanks
