when i go to the FI site, goto speakers, click the BL series, nothing shows up. The rest work, just the BL. I want to order my new subs but...

that program looks like google sketchup, i downloaded it, but what i have made on there looks nowhere near as good as that. I have played around with it some, but need some time with it. would i be better with port like that in the middle or 1 that goes all way across box. thanks jayson for design also

its going in 97 expedition and want it tuned around 32-34hz. I think the second post i made is going to work out pretty good. I will order subs and anothe 1500d next week and hopefully start box by monday.

after doing some better measuring, i have 46.5" W x 24" H x 30" D, which is around 16.5 cubes gross, after sub and port displacement will that be enough

Without going over my windows and taking the whole back up, i have 40" D x 46" W x 22" H, which is 11.8 cubes gross, will that be enough for 2 BL 18's? It says to use 5-10 cubes each, thats a wide range, i guess depending on power to them mostly. I will be running 2 saz1500d's strapped to them. I have more room than that if needed, just want to leave a little space for batteries and amps.

ok, thanks as always. I am going to go ahead and order another 1500d next week. If i am going to strap both 1500d's together what subs do i get D1 or D2? i know run D2 to each amp is 1 ohm load, but didnt know if it was different with 2 amps strapped? thanks found it i think: i run 2 D2's to a 2 ohm load then hook up like this pic http://www.sundownaudio.com/images/SAZ-1500D_Strapping2.jpg i have always had just 1 big amp runnin my subs in the past, so i am just making sure what i need to order next week. sorry for so many questions.

thanks for replies, i will probably just sell the 1500d and go ahead and get the 3000d. it will be easier to sell amp while it is brand new than used i would imagine.

i already got the amp, would 1 saz1500d be enough for 2 BL 18s until i can sell the 1500d to get a 3000d?

right now i have 1 1500d that i havent even taken out of box yet. I was going to run 1 12" BL, but now i have traded vehicles. Now thinking of running 2 15's or 2 18s. Since i already have the 1 1500d, which would draw less current running 2 1500d's or just 1 3000d? I may just sale the 1500d just to make easier on the wiring. thanks

Ok i was building fiberglass console for my 12" BL to be run off saz-1500d. Now I havent even taken anything out of box or used any of it yet, and probably trading vehicles this weekend. Now I will be putting stuff in 97 expedtion. My sub is BL 12" with most options except spl and flatwind. I have plenty of room for whatever in this vehicle, so i will probably sale the 12" BL. If i wanted to run some 18" Q's, how would 1 saz1500d run both of them, or should I just get 2 BL 18s with 2 saz1500ds? If i didnt already have my amp, i would just buy 3000d. I have kinetik 1400 to go up front and 1 2000 kinetik now for the back. Let me know any other suggestions also. thanks

I decided to go with 2 sets of CDT components. If i decide to run them active, can i run all 4 tweeters off channels 1 and 2, then run all 4 mids off channels 3 and 4? This should be 2 ohms all channels? thanks

cool, thats still good to know. I know i dont ever see 2 many 2 ohm components.

nevermind, i am just going to run 2 sets of the RE6.5 comps instead of the xxx series.

I see that it says 160x4 at 2 ohms. This might be stupid question, but i havent ever had any 2 ohm speakers, but the RE XXX comps are 2 ohm. Can 2 channels run 2 ohm and the other 2 run 4 ohm? Or should i run 2 sets of xxx components? thanks for help before i order

well, i ordered both my amps earlier this week, and sundown has very fast shipping. Hopefully will have everything hooked up in couple weeks, it will be hard to wait, but i will be working 7 days a week for at least 2 weeks. Pics and new cd player came in also today:

well, i got on here for bout the last year, and decided i wanted to get back into some stereo's. Anyway last week i ordered a 12" BL with options, and decided to go ahead and get my amps too. So, I just ordered a saz-1500D and a SAX-100.4. I am anxious to get all hooked up, I have always bought stuff locally or a few things from woofersetc.com. So, pretty excited to try something besides kicker, alpine, mtx, crossfire, jl, or rockford. Thats bout all there is here. Will post pics when i get them. Thanks sundown, again

i had a 95 civic hatch that i ordered a HO alt from a place in texas, i think it was a 150 or 175 amp and i ran 2 kinetiks and never had any problems. I am looking now for the site, but they were very fast. i will post up link in a minute hopefully.

i liked my 790 alot, and the 800 has alot more on it except bluetooth, but im not looking for that. I like the eq features and all the crossovers, i am just going to go ahead and get the 800. I will keep ya posted of any problems or what i think of it

i have had a couple pioneer 980's that had ground problems, then on the 3rd one i had for over a year with no problems. Now i havent had a stereo in almost a year ( bought a bike and never drive truck), now i am putting stereo in truck. I would like the new 800prs, but have still read of many people having trouble with pioneer ground problems. What headunit does everyone use comparable to the pioneer? Locally, only choices here are pioneer, very few being premier models, alpine, and some lower end kenwoods. thanks for help

my wife asked if FI stood for F**king insane. LOL. She likes workin with fiberglass and wants to do 1 FI 10" sometime soon.
