Welcome to the IHoP
i can get most everything here in town, santa barbara has some well stocked gun stores and very few enthusiasts. i would start reloading but i start work for the rest of summer monday and then classes start at uc in september. it's hard enough for me to find time just to shoot let alone take up reloading. I can't find shit here, everywhere online is sold out in no time at all. I can get the press, looking at the Lee 4 hole turret press Can't find the 4 piece Lee Carbide die set for .45ACP Would like to stock up on brass, primers, and a couple pounds of powder, but either can't find them in stock or don't have the money to blow on stockpiling when they are in stock. Such is life. http://cgi.ebay.com/Lee-Carbide-3-die-set-...8QQcmdZViewItem found the 3 die set, i'm sure the fourth die is available individually somewhere. i'll start saving my .45acp brass and whatnot. i will finally pickup my p345 thursday afternoon so it'll be time to shoot these 500 rounds of fiocchi 230 fmjs i've been sitting on for 4 months. i'll investigate what the stock on reloading supplies are like at my local stores next week. i like the idea of an ihop collaborated ammo factory

read the book, but i haven't seen the movie. i am a fan of krakauer, his pat tillman/afghanistan book should be pretty interesting when it comes out and "into thin air" is a must read.

Welcome to the IHoP
i will donate equipment and brass to your project if you want to build some ammo for me (i'll pay), especially before california outlaws ammo. the state assembly bill 962, which sadly passed assembly and is waiting to go to the senate floor, wants to install a registration system for handgun ammo and cap sales and transfers (even between family members) to 50 rounds of pistol ammo a month. i'd gladly buy you large quantities of brass, primers, powder and bullets if you'd load me rounds in the neighborhood of $10-20/box. You'd have to give me a bit before I became a little more acquainted with loading .45's but I would do it. seriously ryan, what would help get you acquainted? i'll send you a single stage press and dies if you wanna try it out. they aren't that pricey.

that sux bro, the only thing i know of that makes me hungrier than being baked is exercise. perhaps wake up a little early and go for a run or lift weights? i'm at a loss if the chronic doesn't help you out (sure works for me every time i have a tummy ache). actually, i haven't tried exercising. Perhaps some early morning exercise would help even things out. it might sound gay but spin classes are good in the morning. it's not really that bad a way to wake up; a good 45 min workout at 6am. i just sit behind a sea of hot ass in spandex and all the instructors at my gym are banging. sometimes it will just be me and a couple other old dudes and a bunch of yoga type 20 yr old sluts.

oh yeah and duck hunting is teh sux. i swear it's for masochists, who wants to trek through 36 degree water at 4am only to sit in a wet, cramped blind for four hours. i want to try qual hunting though, i heard that's a riot.

that's benelli you're thinking of. they are makers of some of the finest shotties as well. they make the 'nova and they just released a new model called the vinci. it's been highly reviewed so far. i stick with the tried and true remington's though (mainly because they fit my budget)

There is one of those in Shenendoa (sp?), Iowa. I think it adds in boots, food, and fuel too. on the topic of guns, we added another 870 to the household collection I'm thinking about getting a semi auto shotgun. Something a bit more tacticle, but I would like it to maybe hunt on my buddies land too. Nice little shotty you have there mang! thanks man! that thing is really only practical for 10 yards. it's not much of a hunting gun. i have another 870 with wood stocks, a smaller magazine and 26" express barrel with modified choke. that's the bird gun for clays and hunting, if you want to hunt i'd recommend looking into something like the express. my buddy has a real nice beretta semi auto that is oh so sexy if you wanna drop bank on a shotty, however he could have bought 5 of mine for the cost of his and we're pretty much dead even in in hitting clays.

Hifonics XXV Sampson or Memphis 4000d mojo amp ? Please help
i'm not sure why you want to run hifonics but if you really feel the need to run maxxsonics products i would just go with a pair of gp3000d pro's strapped. however, if you are looking for the most reliable power you can get on a budget i recommend (along with many of the other members here) you look into sundown amps.
