db-r has five ZED opti 1000's. you could run all 5 of those for ~6kw. it would cost less than $1k too.

funny you should say that, i just bought a pair of cdt coaxes and i really like them. woofersetc.com is having a crazy sale on the stuff. free shipping and up to 70% off. got my 5 1/4's for 50 bucks. it's they're cl line but i saw some es and ef series drivers down from the $500 range to < $200!

What is replacing it? Audison LRx 1.400. I test fitted a 4.300 (same size as the mono) and it fits nicely under the seat. I got a nice price for the kx and I can pay the Audison in a few rates so I won't fork out a lot of money at once. Nice, wish I could afford Audison. So for now its just ZED and PG. i'm with you denim soon my zed designed us acoustics will be @ db-r for repair and then recommissioned as my coax amp
just got those cdt coaxes put in. i had to take out the factory bracket and cut the back piece off but other than that they bolted right in. i'd have to say i like them a lot for ease of installation, they were just what i needed for my hoopty honda. :bigclap:

great build man, it looks like it all came together nicely. a great budget build too, a lot of us out there can't afford to wall up and run 10kwrms so it's nice to see more realistic system build logs. i bet your son is stoked

aren't there big fines in some euro countries for clogging the passing lane. for some reason we call them fast lanes even though they're meant for passing.
