Also get rid of the department of education no where in the constitution does it the word "education" come up, bring it back to the state and local level, the more money we put into education the worse it gets,In 2000 the DoE budget was $33 billion, currently it is $64 billion, has it improved at all? If you really want to spend that much...I'd look into a Focal Utopia, Morel Ultimo, Aura NS, Rainbow Vanadium. Some of the best subs I've heard when money's no object. You better be running Hybrid, Scanspeak, or something similar up front, otherwise I don't really see the logic in it Honestly Jim I didnt think 1k on a sub was alot of money...especially a 15". As for your front stage suggestions...does that mean I cant go with the sony xplod like i wanted

Its not so much that Im worried about the sub. Its moreso the sub box, thats why I need the sub. The sub enclosure I have in mind seats will have to be replaced with bucket seats. Thats why Im saying the truck will be built around the sub. I wont know front stage placement until the seats are in. I know its a messed up order of building but I have a specific design plan in my head. Well, the budget on the sub is going to be around 1k. Im only going for a single sub so the good thing is I have extra scratch to beef up the budget.

Ok so I want to buy a sub but I dont know what to get. So I was hoping you guys could steer me in the right direction. Every time that I bought a sub I went to the store and listened to it and if I liked it I bought it. Now, I am most likely going to buy it online. So my question here is what am I looking at/for when I shop onlie for a sub? Here is kind of what I am looking for: Either a 12" or 15" (ill take suggestions for both) 1500 wrms in a sealed box. Please dont just say "Go with these cuz they are effin awesome!". Tell me why they are effin awesome. I need to have an educated decision because my truck is literary being built around the sub. Thanks in advance! P.S. Im going for more of an SQ setup. SPL is nice but not in a daily driver.

Where I work we have this non-flexible polymer composite called synthane and it comes in 4X8X3/4 sheets. Now I was wondering if this woould work for a box? I mean in theory it should, its dense and non flexible. I was just wondering if anyone has ever head of this material. I highly doubt its ever been used as in a box, I would imagine its very expensive.

Hey guys Im having issues trying to find a decent mounting kit for my dime. I have a 2000 but I have gone from 1.5 DIN to 2 DIN. THe thing I dont like is that I had to cut the plastic piece that the OEM stereo rested on. So now the HU I have just kinda floats. I was wondering if anyone knows of a mounting kit that will stop this, something like a pocket that it will slide into. Thanks in advance.
