That is stupid. No it doesn't. The only thing you need to do is make sure your install is okay. Other than that you CANNOT hurt your sub by playing it full bore right away. It will break in faster the louder you play it. The "need" to break it in is a crappy internet wives tale. Please stop propagating nonsense. Ok changed the the stock bat out for an Varta AGM ultra saw an idle voltage increase of .1-.2 volts. Dealership only had one so I will be picking up the second one later today. Managed to do some cabling and installed one sub before it started raining. Those BL 12's are heavy buggers(certainly a two man job to install it when the sub is facing to the rear). More pics to follow soon !!! The end is near !!!

I guestimate about 20 kg's per piece. Maybe can use this as an exscuse to get some air-shocks

Ill tune at around 35 if you want to be loud and still be able to listen to music. The kicker will most likely sound louder to the ear but I think the SSA will probalbly soud better and give you that BASS feeling. Besides 18's look cooler
