Don't really have a budget Tbh mate, I can save up pretty good with no money going out at all atm, just started my apprenticeship! But I don't want to go crazy with money, that's about 700-800 quid already! Any thoughts peeps

Firstly I must say this is the best forum I have come across and has helped me by far the most! from NOOB! to beginner I'd say "D So, I like my bass, well what i have of it. Just a Panasonic mini-system in my room that can push 450 watts max with sub. I believe I'm looking for an SQ set-up, to me I'm sure 1000 watts RMS will still get loud sealed, maybe not to you maniacs pushing 3000d's n chit! So to me... This "Should" work well ? :S 1) Fi Q 12" ( Dual 1 or 2)? 2) 1-1.5ft Sealed ( Advise for size or difference between 1 and 1.5 ) 3) Sundown SAE-1000d or RF P1000BD (Don't Know which is best) 4) Speakers to replace stock - ALPINE-SPR-17S Comps 5) Need an amp to run them (Undecided) 6) Some chitty 6x9's to run of HU 50 watt ones cuz they suck anyway. Get like 20 watts to em? 7) STOCK ELECS???? :S Don't really want to go into all that, maybe the big 3 if I have to (Hope to leave it though) Please leave any comments about anything at all and all preivous experience with such items and your personal likes and dislikes! I don't know of any local dealer that sells anything good. I'd be stupid to go buy some xfusion from halfords. i just hear of sundown being amazing. from a UK deal i can get 1000d 1500d and 3000 and the .2 + .4 but because of shipping tax and stuff is very expensive. So could maybe get a better amp value for money. 1200 dollars is alot compared to if i just lived in US lol im just gonna continue browsing

For the last two weeks i've been looking around forums and sites at all car audio equipment, i'm doing ok just need some help i've learnt alot, but still a long way to go! I'm from the UK as i've said a few times so i don't know if anyone can help me the majority of people here all go for Sundown and Fi, which i would love to have but i don't know atm. a Q 12" would cost in dollars 500 for me or 274 pound (With BP) and the 1500d amp would be 400 pound/ 730 dollar so thats 1230 dollar 8( YIKES! (674 pound) -- That's only 1 amp and 1 sub... I was wondering if there are any other brands you would recommend, i have looked at RS t1500-1bd and stuff All help appreciated, Pez

Sorry peeps, i really need to know an amp i can get saving for. That someone has maybe had experience with and can recommend. ideally i wanted a sundown 1200d or 1500d but shipping to england will cost me a bomb more. ive looked at ROCKFORD FOSGATE T1500-1BD, and DLS Classic CAD11, and probs a few others. I'm hoping to pay around 300 pounds but tell me any good amps and price please! from direct ice a 1500d is 400 which in dollars is about 730! and the fi Q will be about 500 dollars worth (274 quid) thanks

I'm from the UK so it's a little harder to get hold of Fi and Sundown , and everyone's talking about it,, but o well so i was wondering if this amp is anygood DLS Classic CAD11 im still getting an Fi Q from a UK dealer. or does anyone know a distributor in the UK that sell sundown amps. i see where you are coming from i know you cant have both! i didnt explain very well, i want SQ because im gunna be playing music a lot in my car but i dont really want to let the whole street know. But i want to know if you will definatly feel the bass otherwise i may be changing my option you can not tune a sealed box? so didnt know if it will hit say 32 Hz what RMS them 8's runnin at? looks good enough for me, be able to hear that nicly

well i mean i've not had first hand experience with these, i just want to be able to feel some thump behind me i dont mean loud for streetbass wars enough to get a nice vibration

Looks like ill be going with 1.5 cuft box sealed then! could you tell me if the Fi Q sub will still hit the low 30's? and be able to have some volume to? as you cant tune a sealed box only use its size to change sound. if i built my own box out of mdf sealed it all with silicone, would it need some kind of insulation on the inside?

If you had to pick out of these few set ups, which one would you pick? 1) Fi Q 12" No BP SAE-1000d (Best Box for this?) 2) Fi Q 12" With BP SAZ-1500d (Best Box for this?) 3) AA Havoc 12" SAZ-1500d (Best Box for this?) 4) AA Havoc 12" RF 1500-1BD (Best Box for this?) I'm saving for my first car now and just want to get a nice system put in, budget is ok lower the better obv but dont want to buy some crap. I'm looking at a Corsa 1.2 SXi Twinport for the car.
