amps "mysteriously" shutting off. circuit boards burning up "mysteriously" they put out rated power( most of them) but their usually not too reliable

its not that hifonics doesnt put out rated power because most of them do. they are just not reliable.

go with sundown amps, more reliable. they can be bought at this site ^ click shop up there theres alot of bad stories about hifonics lately

yes. but the armrest thing is not necessary but you can do it if you want. it wont hurt anything

2 4" ports are fine also

ye. shanesauce is right. it will be pretty louder, more cone area, but it really depends on how you build your box, size, tuning. how much were you going to pay for that amp?
