^what i said up there is specifically for the sub your talking about in this thread, it doesnt apply to all subs.

if your ONLY going to be burping the sub, which means playing a quick tone for to 30 seconds or a lil longer. only used for competition, not daily use whatsoever

he'l reply. and its what dbjunior said in your other post "if your talking about fi its a tighter gap for more motor strength but it can ruin the coil from music because of coil wobble."

well you heard right because if you play the sub with the spl option your going to mess up your voice coil. and you wont have bass anymore

yes i would say most of them are. even their smaller amps like the 100.4 would tear up a sub

3.4cuft is fine for the havoc, what i would do is go ahead and drop it in that same box, if you like it keep it if you dont build a new box
