  3. Hey guys, in this episode I show you how you can take a seemingly normal box, and make it truly custom and one of a kind, and integrate it into your install, and really give your builds a PROFESSIONAL look. Here is the video: The pictures below outline the steps: 1: Laying Out your shapes and ideas: 2: Preparing the shapes for body filler: 3: Applying Body Filler: 4: sanding Bosy Filler: 5: Prepping for Vinyl or Paint: 6: Wrapping the panel and triming: 7: Finished Product: 8: Finished Product: Please comment below or on the video itself, if you enjoyed the video check out my others as well on YouTube. 4. Haha I need to get some more these, I used them before, but never put them through such a rigorous test, where do you get yours from?
  5. As you guys well know car audio is an ever changing hobby. You may decide to add an amp to your install, or a secondary battery, and there is nothing more frustrating than having to completely re-do your install just to add an additional electrical component. If you take the time to make fiberglass bezels or beauty panels for your wire distribution the thought of making a change to that distribution is terrifying, as you would then have to redo all of your work. Well now these worries are a thing of the past! Check out my video review of the Knukonceptz KNF60 distribution block. If you would like an additional product reviewed in the future let me know! Mark
  6. In this episode of "Car Audio Fabrication" I share the proper way to utilize T-Nuts in an install. The advantages of T Nuts are as follows: Screws can be removed several times if you need to access the inside of the enclosure with no worry of srtipping or degrading the thread quality (like what would occur with wood screws into wood)More secure mounting, they cannot be pulled loose from the mounting surface as occurs with wood screws.Other notes: Adding a dab of super glue before securing the t nut to the wood can prevent them from falling into the enclosure before installing. Using a size down from the shank of the t nut for your drill hole allows for a tighter squeeze on the nut. Hurricane nuts are also available which "turn" into the mounting surface rather than bite.I hope you guys enjoy! Discuss below and if you enjoy the content Subscribe! ~Mark
  7. I use the Adobe Product suite for everything, expensive as f*ck but worth it to bring videos to you guys. Thanks for the thumbs up
  8. Many times I have been asked: "What if I don't have a table saw, how can i still make a good box?" This video answers that question. Enjoy!
  9. I have used mine so much it has definitely paid for itself. Let me know how you like it.
  10. It is definitely worth it to learn, the things you can create are infinite! I love it, have you ever tried, anyone else new to fiberglass?
  11. What ind of wood is that in that picture or are you just messing with the cut?
  12. Man it makes such a huge difference, and you can do it in like two minutes. Haha
  13. In this video I show you how to cut a perfect circle for your car audio install: What you need: Router (Preferably a plunge, but I show you can use a normal one) Jasper Circle Jig Drill 3/16 Drill Bit Wood to cut a circle into The Jasper circle jig in the video is the Model 200. Search Google for "Jasper Circle Jig Model 200" to find it. Mark
  14. Nice! Next step, downloadable .step files for us Solidworks/Catia/NX/Inventor Guru's? Just bought one of your guy's SA-8 V2's stoked to try it out.
  15. Its not SPL as in what you will hear once placed in the car, it doesn't take into effect cabin gain, etc. It is a tool you can use though to compare theoretical performance of two different drivers or different enclosure designs. But with all audio there are about a million factors to account for, WinISD gives you a starting platform.
  16. Be careful with the fumes bro. Brain Damage.
  17. Yeah kinda what i figured...atleast im breaking even..ill post it right now for $240 and probably get $180-$200 Yeah man it will be hit or miss. If you can find someone that could really use it you will be able to sell it easily. It is just hard to find someone that really needs something like that. Plus most people that understand that box or have the desire to have a box like that would rather build it on there own. When re-selling online list EVERYTHING about the box. You have a good start but I would list exact cutout diameters, port length, etc.
  18. I always take into account the distance to the center of the port by adding half of the port width as well. I am guessing that port is 3.5"-4" wide?
