which 15?
It will be box and install dependent. The SA series has put up some serious SPL numbers. The Fi SSD is a very underrated subwoofer imo. Toss a coin as far as which will be louder. Both are great drivers and built by great companies. Budget can also make your decision easier as well.

ye ye ;) SSA XCON build
Thanks man, and theres no comparison. Bass is so much cleaner, ALOT louder and the amp doesnt get hot, ever. I have pics of the AQ guts vs the Sundowns If anyone wants me to upload them i will. You have comparison pics already uploaded.

Thinking of Upgrading.
No need to buy another amp! No such thing as underpowering a sub! You could run your exisiting amp until your ready to upgrade to a bigger amp when you get your electrical up to par.

It's about time we see some updates! ... Serious flex! Good job! How did the AQ compare to the Sundown in output?

No Love for Sundown!!!!
Internet is why I stayed away from the so called "Mainstream" brands and started to support and buy my products from either "Authorized" online dealers or manufacturer direct. I give Sundown credit for supporting their "Dealers" by mandating a "Minimum Advertised Price". If a dealer is caught advertising below this they are automatically not a dealer and cannot get access to Sundown product.

Thinking of Upgrading.
If you're looking for more output in a single 12" set up, it will be install dependent along with proper electrical. Upgrade to a 12 BL or even a BTL!

Thinking of Upgrading.
Ever thought of going with another SSD? More cone area and motor will give you more SPL while remaining musical!

18 bl aq 1200d
It should be ok as long as you complete the "Big 3" and run at least a minimum of 1/0 gauge power and ground. If you drop the load down to 1 ohm you may want to add at least 1 battery in the back.

4x SA-10s = 154.9 dB
But it's a Jeep! They always score higher! .... Either way the SA series is a great line of Subwoofers! Keep up the great work!

Very nice progress! Looks like it's winding down til' you have sounds!- Audio Wrap
just so you know, adhesion has asolutely no direct benefit to sound deadening. so long as the product sticks to where it's been applied, more adhesive doesn't help you sound deaden your vehicle AX I said that about the adhesion because when I stick something somewhere I like it to stay. That's certainly a requirement, but it's a very low standard to meet. You are right to point out that it can't always be assumed to be the case for products sold for this purpose. Once we pass that minimum threshold, the formulation of the adhesive becomes critical. "Butyl" covers a very wide range of materials Just being butyl based does not mean the adhesive was designed for vibration damping. The performance difference between an adhesive designed for vibration damping and those designed for other purposes is huge. Most butyl compounds intended for construction perform no better than asphalt, except that they will stick and are unlikely to fail when exposed to heat. I don't know anything about the adhesive used in this product except what I've seen in their previous products, so I'm not assuming anything. Just that "sticking" tells us nothing and should be expected. ^^^^ This is why I stick with SDS products! Knowledge!- Twisted's 3rd Row Wall Build
Low tuned standard wall!- Gain Matching
See if you can find someone to set the gains with an Oscope. I would strap if it were me.- Gain Matching
1 amp on 1 dvc subwoofer?- Gain Matching
What amps?- Gain Matching
Yes it can be done, but I would try to match the two if not "Strapped" by using an OScope.- 1 15" Death Penalty or 2 12" Sa 12s..
