Kicker makes a very good amplifier as do so many other companies. look at various amplifiers and compare the SSF to see whether they are fixed or variable. Quality of crossover etc. Look into customer service and what kind of technical assistance they offer. Buy what fits your budget and needs! Not every company is going to offer the exact specifics you are looking for.

I wonder if that wasn't suppose to be 440 x 4 at 2 ohms?

The SAE-1000D is a mono block amplifier and has no HPF just a LPF and a SSF. Are you sure you have a SAE-1000D on your front components?

You got a lot of new toys that you are keeping a secret with over there, Im thinking about the SAX-200.4 already (that would be perfect, just one amp for mids and highs). That beast would be nuts on mids and highs!
