I have sat in this vehicle and they claim it is a series tuned 6th order bandpass. They also claim there was no math or T/S parameters involved when calculating the enclosure. The sub woofers are 2 15" UFO style BTL's with Sundown NS soft parts. They guys name is Tom Tucker and the enclosure was built by Top Dog Audio in Washburn Iowa.

All depends on listening tastes! I prefer a 35hz tuning. As far as going with a 4th order bandpass go with a reputable designer. The SA will work great in a bandpass but I personally like a standard 4th order vented enclosure.
Oh yea she definitely got a hold of a bad Oscar Mayer Wiener!
Go with a standard ported enclosure with the SA-12!
