  1. Very good points! I personally don't use the remote. Better to set the gain on the amp and leave alone.
  2. Sketchup is free! Give it a try ...
  3. Gotcha! Thanks for the insight.
  4. Don't skimp on the amp! Sundown is a great amp .... The SAZ-1000D, SAZ-1500D or the all new SAX-1200D would be great on that sub. Other choices are Audiopipe, Audioque, Crecsendo, Kicker, Rockford ... etc! Check out the Classifieds section here for some great deals on amps.
  5. The IA 20.1 would be a great match! What is the budget?
  6. Glad you got it all figured out. FYI on the remote ... You can turn the input gain on the amp all the way to 6 volt and then use the remote to control the gain from the front.
  7. Meet half way in Calgary? .... J/K ... I figured it would be costly coming across the border and with the distance.
  8. Roughly what would shipping be to the USA 57201?
  9. What are the advantages of large format tweeters? I have always used the small format type 1" dome tweeters.
  10. I would bump up your tuning to IA specs. Other than that you should be good to go!
  11. Better to buy something with an adjustable SSF filter. FMODS are usually fixed and just not worth it!
  12. Looking good!
  13. All good choices above! Sundown, AQ and Crescendo are very well built amps! Planet Audio, I have no experience with! Me being a little biased toward Sundown I would look into the new SAZ-2500D as mentioned above. It is going to be a very nice amp for the money!
  14. Very nice! I like the layout!
  15. Welcome ....
  16. Not a lot of material left on that baffle to attach that monster 21"!
  17. External ports are going to be the same length as internal. Only thing your not doing is subtracting the port volume from the internal air space!
  18. Porn camera eh?
  19. Most suv's tend to be louder with subs up port back! But both designs look good!
  20. Face the port back! Design looks good!
  21. Shit can the RE Box calculator! It does not account for sub or bracing displacement! Better off to do it with paper and pencil!
  22. That amp should be giving you tons of volume! Best bet is to double check the wiring on the woofers to make sure they are not wired out of phase or maybe one of the coils is disconnected.
  23. ^^^^^^^this. ill bet money its this or the outputs i have the rca's plugged in to the top left and bottom left inputs im pretty sure thats right correct? also yes as of now i just guessed on the gains. i cant get ahold of an o scope or anything of the sort until monday. but my point is, it should still put out sound lol its not even close to being as loud as my t1500 was on my subs. Yea that is right! Do you have access to a DMM? If so check the impedence of the speakers at the amp to make sure you have a DCR somewhere near 1ohm.
  24. Make sure the RCA's are hooked up to the inputs and not the Slave and Master RCA jacks.
