  1. You could actually go active with channels 1-2 on tweets and channels 3-4 on mids. Or just bridge the amp to a two channel and run to your comp crossover.
  2. Might just be the pic of the gold! Maybe in person it looks better! Still prefer the black and aluminum look of Sundown.
  3. Not alot of TREO users here. I know they make a great product, so I would say go for it!

  8. What HU and amps are you planning in running?
  9. Use the search function and do some research. It takes time and trial and error to learn all there is to learn when it comes to front stage setup. There are many knowledgeable members that will be able to answer your question in a technical manner. I am still learning as well.

Generally means your playing your subwoofer in the wrong size enclosure below recommended tuning. Most of the time the amp is driven to clipping by using to much bass boost, loudness function etc. I'm sure somebody else will be able to answer better.
  12. What subwoofers? Ported will almost always yield higher output than sealed. 1^3ft sealed or ported box should not really need any extra bracing.
  13. May want to check out who the engineer/designer is on the JL Audio amps! So are you going to tell me? Or do I have to use google and actually do something? I'm hoping to take the easy way out and have you answer for me. Bruce Macmillan from PPI and Jeff Scoon from Xtant iirmc.
  14. What's your width and height?
  15. Figure out how wide and how high you want the port. That will equal your square inch of port. Then just figure out how low of tuning you want. PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES PORT DESIGN FORMULAs for SUB WOOFER ENCLOSUREs
  16. May want to check out who the engineer/designer is on the JL Audio amps!
  17. Figure out your cubic feet and figure out how many square inches of port per cubic feet you want. General rule of thumb is 12-16 square inches per cubic feet. And you generally cut your bracing with a saw! ...

  20. Nice looking build! In a pickup I would go either subs and port front or try firing up and see what sounds best to your ears!
  21. Ask Jake what kind of epoxy to use to reattatch the spider. Good luck!
