Depending on your box size it can vary, I like to stay 2" away from the edges to prevent the MDF from splitting (Pre drill) then anywhere from 6-8" apart from there.

Yes and also remember to subtract speaker displacement and any internal bracing. Roger that, so subtract .18cuft(BTL) and would you suggest internal bracing? Ill be running maybe 1900Wrms or a lil more to each.. with 1in MDF and Ill screw it all together and use the sealant around the seams and stuff.. And thanks a lot for the help, very useful With 1" MDF and a slot port you should be fine! I would use a quality wood glue like Titebond and clamps when attaching your panels. Don't over do it on the screws.

Well I use this site plus some very reliable sources, and that guy uses sources that tell him 86% eff amps suck and lower Hz are used for competitions.. so I think I have a better backing. And Im working on the big3, 2 batts with 0ga all the way, he has stock elec and a 5F cap.. Sounds like your a BL listener! Stay within Fi's recommended box specs and you should be loud and still maintain good sound. A little reading below to help in your decision...

Yes and no! Too many variables to answer this! It will be install dependent(type of vehichle, electrical upgrades, accuracy of enclosure, proper level matching of Hu to amp, and proper setup of your amplifier.) But with the BTL's and Sundown you should be louder!

3 way - SAE-1200D on Subwoofers SAX-125.2 on Midbass SAX-100.4 on Midrange and tweeters. 2 way - SAE-1200D on Subwoofers SAX-100.4 on Midrange and tweeters.

Sundown - SAZ-2000D FTW! Second I would look into the Audioque over the Hifonics just for the customer service you would get from AQ over Hifonics.

Also check for a loose panel while you have your subwoofer out. Also double check your settings to make sure your not sending it a clipped signal.

They look to be a great deal! If it were me and I had the $, I would get them to play around with.

You may want to look at something in the 200amp range on your alt. Also I would really do the "big 3" first. Two different batteries won't hurt. Good Luck!
