  1. Look into a Phoenix Gold "Bass Cube" it has way more features than the "Epicenter". Built in 18/db Subsonic filter that you can either set to a fixed setting for "Seald" or Tracking for "Ported". Single band parametric eq with a center frequency of 20-110hz which is infinately variable and bandwidth Q setting of (narrow) or (Wide) Gain of 0-15 db. Here is a link to the manual and other information. Well worth it imo. http://download.phoenixphorum.com/Manuals/Processors/Basscubes/
  2. If your looking at running that much power why not look into the SPL line from Mach 5?
  3. Where does it say they are going to stop building the SSD line?
  4. Stay within Fi specs for box and tuning and you should be ok. Are you doing two seperate chambers or 1 common chamber for the pair? Your right on in your ^2 of 12-16" per cubic feet of air space.
  5. That is one menacing looking 8" subwoofer! Looking forward to test results!
  6. Welcome ....

  8. Does the amp "Protect" light come on? Make sure your installer didn't have the + - reversed
  9. Welcome miss!
  10. The resistance will be inaudible. I wouldn't worry about it.

I wanna know as much as I can and this site is helping a TON Easiest way to eplain this is to go to http://www.linearteam.dk/default.aspx?pageid=isdonline type in your speakers T/S parameters and look at the graph and compare the frequency curves. If you have to convert metric to inch their is a conversion table also on the site.

    If you can't fit 1 18" look into 1 15" or 2 12" BTL's
  20. Convertibles = Not sound quality or SPL friendly
  21. Being both boxes are tuned to 35HZ and only .5 ^3 difference. I don't think there would be much of an audible difference.
  22. I use MDF for my enclosures MDF = Medium Density Fiberboard
