The RF4000.1 is a beast along with a huge foot print, 1 will be more than enough for 2 18" BTLs.

I would recommend 1/0 gauge as well. KnuKonceptz has some very good products. I would stay away from the "KLMX" Kable as that is aluminum clad copper. The "Fleks" Kable is comparable to Stinger HPM and Kicker Hyper Flex!

Go with the zero gauge. Especially if you plan on running another or bigger amps.
These would be the same series as the SA-12 which is a lower power sound quality subwoofer. Iirc these are in the 600 Watt RMS class.

Not sure about being made out of the same material. But I installed a pair of Second Skin D-flex pads in my doors and it made quite an improvement in my mid-bass.
Look into the SAX-50.4 from Sundown to run active! Great amp with a great crossover built in.

Go with 56in^2. You can always shorten the port if you don't like the sound.
What does the owners manual say? They designed the amp and wrote the manual. Go by the recommendations and your good to go! Be careful though Sknynet is watching!
