comps?
To hell with whoever sits in the back! ... J/K. Only thing rear speakers are used for in most systems is fill if even at all. But like ///M5 said a proper front stage will more than make up for rear fill. You could just run your deck power to the rear speakers to see how it sounds. More than likely you will disconnect them later.

Icons ... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/icon/10.html or Mach 5 IXL-10 Sound Splinter RL-i 10 Just to name a few. I have never worked with any of these, but I have read nothing but great things about all these drivers. On this forum and others.

nitro audio
Were not trying to rip on you. Were just trying to persuade you to spend wisely and get a quality driver for a bit more $$. Not saying that driver won't do the job...But it looks more like bling than quality. You may want to check out the new 187 Series from Incriminator. Quality with customer service! http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=22648 For box design ... http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/home/index.php/boxtools My advice would be to stick with a reputable company. You will be much happier in the long run.

Q18s... not very loud
Sounds like you have either bad RCA's or one of the outputs on your deck is bad. Also double check to make sure your woofers aren't wired out of phase.

help with box for 2 18" btls
1 BTL will need a minimum of 8 cubic ft internal volume with whatever tuning your looking to get. 128 cubic inches should give you roughly a 40 hz tuning if you wanted to go that high. To figure your port width take your internal volume and divide that by your internal height and that should get you in the ball park. Some recommend rounding to the nearest quarter inch. Try to stay within 10% of recommendation and you should be good to go! Please correct me if im wrong. Been awhile since I calculated boxes. Good luck

This one has my vote as well. Great job on the design. Just my .02 how about if you have the fist coming through a shattered windshield.
