Do you have the room to do such an enclosure in your vehichle? For just 1 15" subwoofer I would stick to doing a standard 4th order ported enclosure tuned to 30-32hz for your listening tastes.

1 DCON 10" and 1 Incriminator Audio 5.1 amplifier and your all set for a very nice sounding, low budget system. The DCON is a very versatile sub and can go in a small sealed enclosure or moderate ported enclosure.

The Fi SSD is what I would go with, just a great all around sub woofer imo. Definitely do the "Big 3" in 1/0 as mentioned above. With a 2K amp I would also recommend adding an additional battery back by your amp(s).

As long as the electrical is stout and amp is not clipped I think the DP will be just fine on 2K.

Good luck on the build man! Some great advice given here. When I did my kicks I cheated and went with Q-Logic Q-Forms and they have served me well for my tastes.

lol............. 1k-2500hz??? that aint a midbass range. you might wanna check on that. hes talking about the 50-150hz range i believe. My bad! To damn early, need my morning caffine!

If coming from Incriminator Audio the 5.1 is more than likely underrated and will produce more than advertised. The CS you would recieve from IA and SSA will be nothing but top notch!

Why not buy the Incriminator 5.1 for sub use? For the price $199 during the Black and Blue sale it's a no brainer. Don't look at the wattage ratings either as it won't make a difference in your build. You will be getting a great small footprint monoblock with variable ssf filter. Along with the quality that Incriminator is known for.
Very funny but a major fail! I want to know what meter they used to measure that so called 170db.

^^ This ^^ I had an 18" Deathrow on an SAX-1200D and the Deathrow sounded great and got nasty loud for the amount of power I was running. But if you ever plan on upgrading and going with I would definintely go with a Death Penalty.
